Issue resolved
Thanks for the helpful comments! I've decided to try a different style instead, so hopefully that will work better!
Original problem
I ordered this bra off Amazon, and I'm still a newbie at wearing the correct bra size (former 36DD here). Anyways, I clearly need to return this, but I was wondering whether I should go up one cup size or two? I don't have much money at the moment so I really can only get one to try.

helpfulI would actually go up 3 or 4 sizes by the look of this. Additionally, based on the measurements of this bra and your own measurements, it might just be the wrong style for you.

I agree, maybe Cleo balconettes, especially the Marcie, or halfcups would be a better fit. Do you know this blog: http://brasihate.blogspot.de/?

helpfulI think one cup size should be enough, a 30H. You don't want to overshoot. This bra, however, is a notoriously hard fit so you may have better luck finding something with more give up top.

Agree on both recommendations.
The underwire on the side seems to be on top of some breast tissue, you want a deeper cup.
And also this bra is known for causing that quad boob, you may need something with more open cups at the top.
