Issue resolved
Resolved - Between mrsfu and the ladies at abtf, the general consensus is that this bra will not work for me.
I'm going to list it in the listings and hope it finds a home with a better fit.
Original problem
Hi bra ladies! I would appreciate your help again, please!
I'm really on the fence about this bra. It is sooooo pretty, but its wires want to kill me. This, of course, can be alleviated to some extent by following the directions here: http://brasihate.blogspot.com/2012/01/what-to-do-with-those-pesky-wide.html.
But... that would permanently change (some may consider it damage) the bra, and I do have a few other issues with it. Its straps are too far apart for me, it gapes a little on both sides around the gore, and a little where the strap meets the cup on my larger left side (worrying about gaping on my smaller right side would be as pointless as rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic, so again, I didn't bother to take any pics of the right).
Could anyone help me figure out what's going on here?
Thanks!Update: After mrsfu 's observation that the band was too tight, I added an extender, which seems to have solved some of the problems! I've added new pics, while wearing the extender, of the front, the gaping near the strap on the left, and the gaping gore. If the band was so tight as to distort the cups that badly, I wonder why the band itself didn't hurt?

helpfulStraps are too wide because band is too tight. Wires are hurting because band is too tight. With 77.5 cm under the bust and smaller bust, 32 band would be better. Cups may be too big - if you had a chance I would try 32f - band up and cup down.

I'm glad I helped a little - but cups are still too big, aren't they? It's a plunge style not full cup so your breast shouldn't be covered so much.
Bands in Masquearade bras - most of them are satin so shouldn't be stretched too much. If you got M bra too tight it stretches out very quickly (maybe previous owner stretched it?).
If you are 77cm tight under the bust, even 34 band could work in this bra. -
I think the problem is more my poor breast shape than the cup being too big. I'm a 1.5/6 (between 1/6 and 2/6) on the scale here: http://i.imgur.com/zeP3dZF.png
I have added a photo of quadboob in this bra while wearing the extender. I inhaled deeply and pulled my shoulders back very slightly more than normal.
Your first recommendation was that I size the band up and the cup down to 32E. I don't think going down to a 32DD would work. I get quadboob consistently in 32DD.
Is it possible this is just a bad shape for me altogether?

Ooh, I had not thought of that. That would explain a lot. I was hoping stretching to 81.3 cm would be enough. :(
I bought it here, so unfortunately I can't exchange it for a 32E. :/
I have an extender, so I'll try it and take some pics.
Thanks! :)
Update: mrsfu, I think you saved the day! The extender seems to have solved all of the problems!
