Bra fitting help » 28G Freya Deco Honey too big in cups
Freya » Deco Honey Moulded Plunge Bra (1254) » 28G 28:9
Issue resolved
Thanks! I think this is the wrong shape for me.
Original problem
Alright, so by the measurements, I should be a 26GG. Naturally, I had to search for 28Gs, so I ordered the Freya Deco Honey from figleaves. And the cups are HUGE on me. I'm trying to figure out why this is. I guess the leaning made me overestimate my cup size, but this is way off. How many cup sizes should I go down?

helpfulStart with one cup size down.
The Deco runs pretty big so it could be just that particular bra.

helpfulDid you scoop and swoop in these pictures? I would suggest going down one or 2 cup sizes. If you live near a department store who sells deco you could try on a sister size to see about what cup size you would need

helpfulI own this bra in size 30E (not half cup though), and it seems like it's not the most ideal shape for full on bottom breasts as the cups are fairly tall. Also, the bands run slightly big in this model.
So I'm thinking this could be more of a shape issue. Like you said, "in numbers" this should be a good fit; your breast perimeter should be ok for this bras cup depth (10" / 9.5"). However, your shape plays a big part in finding the perfect fit.
I would maybe steer away from this particular bra altogether, as I'm not sure if going down in cup size will really help with the fit.

Thanks! What bra would you recommend for full on bottom? It did seem like the cups were really tall. I ordered a masquerade rhea in 28G, I hope that will fit better.

Wish I could help more, but I'm so new on this "bra journey" myself that I can't really recommend any specific bras for your shape. I only made it out the Victoria's Secret world of "these are the only sizes that exist in the world" about a month ago ;)
But I saw this list: http://www.bratabase.com/shape/full-on-bottom/?page=1 Maybe that will be of help! Cross-reference cup depth and width to your breast shape and remember to check that the cup separation works for you.

helpfulI found that I had to size down one cup size in Freya Deco to get a good fit.

Yes, I scooped and swooped.
