Issue resolved
I sent it back.
Original problem
I found this bra for a good price on the Simply Be US website and ordered it after I was assured a US 36J is the same as UK 36G. So I was very disappointed to receive this 36FF. This is my first completely unpadded bra, so I'm not sure if I can make it work or not. I love the shape and the stretchy lace at the top, but I get some wrinkling at the bottom. Maybe that's because the fabric is stiff and washing it would help? Sorry about the picture quality, it's the only camera I have.

helpfulWow, it gives you quite a nice shape actually!
From what I see the main problem with this bra are the straps, they reeally seem way too far apart for you.
Now this can be that just tis particular model isn't right, but it can also be because a band is too tight and/or the cups are too big.
I really can't tell much from these pictures, so I'll go by the numbers.
A band that stretches only 2 cm beyond your ribcage is deffinatelly too tight. This offcourse is true only if 99 is your comfortably snug measurment and 101 is really the full stretch of the band. So how does the band feel?I would also like you to check how much room you hve in the stretch lace part? If you can comfortably put one ore too hands under the lace without stretching it to a breaking point, chances are you could go down a cup in it.
However, sizing down might cause further problems with the wires, and I can't see where are the wires sitting on the side so you have to tell me - are they incasing your root or sitting on your breast tissue?
Are you fully scooped in?
This is important because sizing down will make the wires too narrow an if you don't have room to spare on the sides, this might be a better size for you.As for wrinkling in the bottom, there are also more then a few possible reasons.
- you didn't put your bra on properly, you are wearing it too low
- wires are too narrow for your boobs
- the cup is too shallow on the bottom
-wires aren't bent to suit your body
-wires don't match your crease shape. You are the only one who knows which of these are true
I have too disapoint you though, the fabric on this one doesn't loosen up that much
From my experience, jasmine is a bra that needs some breaking in period and adjusting time and it really is worth the fight.
But I do think you might enjoy panache andorra if you can't make this one work - it will be more comfortable for sure.Updated on July 7, 2013 Flag this

Have you tried any plunge bras ? Usually the straps are set closer on plunges .

Plunges are no good for me. If they're the right size, I still get quadboob. If I go up enough in the cup so I don't get quadboob, they're too big everywhere. I think it's because my boobs are very far apart.

Well, except buying bras with really centered straps or altering the ones you have (which is really hard on this type of bra) not much. You probably have really round ribcage instead of the flat wide oval ones bras are usually designed for.
If you have empry space in the sides of the wires, you can size down in the cup. If you don't this is the best size for you in this bra. Empty space at the bottom isn't really a problem if it's not combined with other fitting issues like too narrow wires. If you feel supported enough in this, keep it. -
Small adding: I think you should check the box "narrow shoulders" in breast shape :)

helpfulI have this bra and the first colorway in the black bird print. They are currently the only bras I wear and I will continue to get every Jasmine that comes out. I wasn't crazy about the blue flower print but the bra is so awesome I got it anyway. I find the band in this bra to be firm and the material is quite sturdy. The black one took about a month to break in but was well worth it. The blue flower one was comfortable from the start and the band was not as tight as the black but still tight enough that I would not size down. I have them both in a 34H. My underbust measurement is 33" which is not a tight measurement. I still wear them both on the loosest hook and I've had the black one since it came out in the fall. I can wear the black on the middle hook now if I wanted but the first hook is still supportive too. I would definitely try a 38 band if you have a 37" tight underbust measurement. It looks like it might be pulled too tight. I also have a couple Andorras but the Jasmine is far superior. I can't wait for the AW13 Jasmine which is more my style print wise and the new Envy which is supposedly based on Jasmine but in neutral colors. Definitely try another size. This bra is worth the trouble.

My ribcage measures 37" when the tape measure is tight. I'm tired of 38 bands stretching out in a week, so I thought I should try a 36. I wear a 38FF, so I wanted a 36G. All straps seem to sit very far apart on me. Is there something I can do to fix that?
