Original problem
Not so much asking for fitting help as I want to let you guys know about how this bra fits. I wear a 28F ck wild plunge and ordered this Alexis smith bra in a size 30E since they don't have a 28F. Man am I happy that they don't sell a 28 band, the band is very firm and doesn't easily stretch to 28inches. I would suggest this bra to someone who needs 26 band because it doesn't stretch very well. Before scooping and swooping the bra seems to fit and then after , oh my the quad boob is the same as a bikini that I own in 30DD. I would definetly say that band cup runs one to two cup sizes to small.

helpfulThe band probably feels too tight because the cups are too small. Fasten the bra backwards and see how the band feels then.

I agree the cups look too small. Another thing that may help, if this is the size you feel most comfortable in, is getting a balconette style rather than a plunge. I have soft tissue so plunges quad-boob me usually even if the cup is too large. (Not that your tissue looks soft -it doesn't- just a thought regarding fit.) Maybe try a 32DD or a 30F?

ShaniSunAZ I have a 30F also and I still get the same problem. I think that the cup shape just isn't for me . Here is my post about it http://shyleejenee.blogspot.com/2013/07/alexis-smith-review.html

helpfulIt's definitely too small. Sometimes bras can have too "closed" cups for full on top breasts, but in this case it's clearly visible on the photos - cups are too small. Rather more than one size. You may try on 30FF and see if the top edge cuts in.
BTW Freya Deco runs bigger in cups than the real size. So if you compare to Deco F, keep it in mind. Also, Deco is very open on top, so yes, it may be a matter of style. if you are a Deco girl, closed bras won't fit.

I did , its still a bit tight. I have a 30F on its way to me to try on. I think an extender will work very well.
