Bra fitting help » Cup size too large? Band size to large? Both?
Panache » Harmony Underwired Balconnet (4031) » 34FF 34:8
Issue resolved
Took suggestions from the responses and tested them at a local bra boutique. The posters were right on; the 32FF bras fit me perfectly! Will obviously have to sell/trade this particular bra.
Original problem
I lost about 20 lbs and unfortunately most of my bras fit like this one (they're all Panache, all the same size). I'm trying to figure out if I should simply go down a cup size (or two) when purchasing my new bras. The band fits properly on the tightest setting, but as you can see in the photos, I can fit 1-2 fingers into the side of the cup and there are wrinkles galore. Every time I've been fitted, I'm told I'm between a 32 and 34 in the band.
Many thanks for your help!!!

helpfulIf the band size is still good then definitely go down a cup size or maybe even two. I'm guessing you are not as perky as before weight loss so maybe consider more supportive lower parts to the cups. The Harmony seems to have good side control so as long as the smaller cups don't cut into your breast tissue at the sides then you will be pulled more towards the centre and fill the cups better. Nice bra - must check it out in my size.

helpfulI def. suggest sizing down in the band to keep the lifespan of your bras longer; having a 34 on the tightest hook is still a 32 on the loosest hook. I'm not sure about the cup size, but it does look about two cup sizes too small, but the big band may also cause part of the wrinkling.
My suggestion is to at least try one band&cup size down as your starting point, so a 32FF.

Ack sorry, just edited! Can I blame a sleepless night for this mistake?

PetitePlentiful lara7819 So just to make sure I'm on the right track, I should try a 32FF instead of a 32F?

Oh, and does anyone have any suggestions for other brands/styles I should check out that would give me a substantial amount of lift and a round apple shape? I'm game for bras with or without padding/moulding.

I actually think you may need to go down two cup sizes. Lift and round apple shape = freya deco! It runs big in the cups and band so you'd probably want to try it in a 32F

Sorry to butt in but I think you've got your sister sizes confused - one band size and one cup size down is a 32FF :)
