Issue resolved
The bra has taller cups than I need. When I made that fit request, the bra was a bit too big and the cups being tall making the gaping more visible. When I got up in cup size, it suddenly fit right.
Original problem
I really don't know if it's a sizing or shape issue with this bra. I get gaping on top of the cups. I always get that gaping even when I shorten the straps a lot. (I can't make them any shorter or they cut into my shoulders) When I put the bra on, it looks good besides the gaping but after a few hours of wear I get some empty fabric on bottom. It's like as if the bra gets pushed down.
On picture 3 I wear the bra as if my shoulders were wider and then the gaping disappears. So the bra is maybe just too wide for my frame and the straps too seperated?
Or should I size down 1 cup size to get a better fit?Edit: picture 1-3 were from a few days ago and all the other pictures are about 1 year old. Issues didn't change much and I am at the same size as I was 1 year ago.

helpfulIt seems to me that this bra is just too tall for you and that the 'armholes' of the bra are just cut wrong for your shape: your arms may be pushing the cups down and out, which would explain the gapping at the top and the slipping down/space at the bottom. Downsizing in the band or shortening it isn't going to help if the problem is with the armholes -- you could try altering them in a way that scoops them out a bit more and move the straps inward a little bit, but otherwise I don't think there's much you can do.

helpfulIt seems like a little bit of both- however, from your measurements it seems like you should be in a 32 band. Sizing down in the band should help at least the space at the bottom of the cup, and might also help your issues with the straps as well

Oh darn. Well, without being able to try a different band, I'm not sure what to tell you. You might be sized out of Sculptresse, shape issues aside.

helpfulI think the sizing is off, but since they don't come in smaller bands you can't really size down. It just looks designed for someone who is broader built with taller, wider boobs.

helpfulYou definately need a smaller back. It's too big - that's why the bra is pushed down.
And it's normal if there is some gaping when you move your arms (muscles push the cup away from your body).Updated on May 29, 2014 Flag this

helpfulHi might help but i think it is a Sculptress issue i have same bra but in 46D but male and broad in shoulders but find like you a sort of wonky fit which is a pity as looks really nice style and colour/design many seem to have issues with Sculptress range part to do with way they have wired it them.
I find loose at top edge or lower down if move but get wires cutting in breast bone.
but there does seem to be a sizing issue ive the pure lace which is ok in DD and the willow in D and DD to try the DD is so far out it's mad.
I know it hasn't been there most successful range got to hear from a fitter which is a pity as there looks/styles are very nice and feel quite sturdy and look quite well made even though made in China!Updated on December 5, 2014 Flag this
This bra starts at a 36 band, so I cannot size down in band :/ Also the band does not ride up while wearing (in my opinion it runs quite small, more like a smallish 34 band) so I thought it be okay.
