Issue resolved
Decided to return the 38GG and give a 38H a try. Not too hopeful that it will work any better, but it is worth a shot with free Amazon returns with prime. Thanks!
Original problem
I love the overall shape this bra gives, but after a few hours of wearing it, I realized the underwires were really jabbing me in the side. Is this something that could be fixed with sizing or am I better off going with a completely different bra? The bra is sitting in my inframammary fold and I am a swooped and scooped as the low underwire allows. The gore tacks pretty tightly and sits higher than I am used to, but this isn't painful.
I am still trying to find a bra that fits great, and also have a Panache Porcelain Moulded T-shirt Bra in 38G that I picked up at nordstrom. I find this bra a bit too small in the cup, but otherwise wearable to get me through my bra-finding quest. It is worth mentioning that I do not have the side-poking issue with the Panache Superbra. I should also mention that I have lost about 85 lbs in the last year and 4 months, so I have a ton of squishy, compressable fat. I am still losing currently, so if my band appears tight, know that it isn't uncomfortably so. Thanks in advance for your help!

helpfulToo narrow wire... though I wouldn't toss the bra if you lose more weight... A larger cup size might help with the issue.

helpfulIt might be hard to find, but a higher wing might suit you better. It looks like it's just not high enough to get all of the tissue under your arms. Something like they have here might help: http://braologie.com/posturebra/

Those are very pretty bras, but I feel like by the time I got it, I might be another size! I will definitely keep those in my mind for when I get to goal weight though. For now I am trying to stick with what I can find locally or get on Amazon with prime shipping. Thank you!

Thanks! Unfortunately I don't have the extra cash to keep around a bra that might fit in the future if I want to get another that fits now. I am considering trying the cleo marcie in a cup size up first, then if that doesn't work I am going to find another direction.
