Bra fitting help » Wrong size, or just wrong bra?
Curvy Kate » Lottie Balcony Bra (CK1601) » 36J 36:13
Issue resolved
I may try this in a larger cup size based on comments on a blog about this odd shape being due to too small cups in all CK styles, but I'm not sure it will work.
Original problem
Is the Lottie just a pointy bra with a flat top panel? Because shape-wise, this is just YUCK. I don't think the pictures show how bad it actually looks, but I did my best.
Do I need to try a different size? Or just give up on this style?

helpfulI would try a different brand, Curvy Kate are meant for FoT boobs. I agree the shape is bad, and the wires are too wide. The size itself doesn't look too far off, so you probably won't solve the fit issues by changing that. You could try a Cleo, or Freya which have narrower wires.

helpfulI agree, it's just a really weird shape even if it has all the hallmarks of a proper fit - I had the exact same problem with the Lottie. I eventually gave up on CK bras because they tend to have super wide wires and strange squashing effects. (downward-pointy for the unmolded, and flat for the molded) It's a shame, because style-wise they are all so pretty.

helpfulCall me Crazy, but I think it looks great. The only thing I see that might show through clothing is a small wrinkle at the top of the cup on your left breast, I can't see room in the cups in the photos. It doesn't look like it would show through though. I don't think this looks "pointy" at all. It looks like "natural" shaping with front-and-center lift. Maybe one band size smaller would give a more snug fit in the cups. It looks like a "wearable" sexy bra, and there are far too few of those, aren't there?
Of course, if it's not comfy, or you don't like the shape it gives you, you definitely shouldn't keep it, but I do think it looks so pretty on you.
