Bra fitting help » I actually think this fits
Panache » Andorra Full Cup Bra (5675) » 32H 32:11
Issue resolved
So the fit issue was this; the bra was too small where I needed the cup depth - in the lower and upper inner. And so my boobs was pushed out and down and sneaked out below the gore. I gave the bra away to someone it did fit better and I regained my comfort in 32H - Panache » Jasmine (6951) instead
Original problem
For the fun of it, let's make a fit request.
Ok so everyone that knows me knows I'm not the one to think a bra should be used just because it fits. And that fitting is second to function and all that. This bra I intend to use because it's so damn cool vintage looking! But I actually also think it fits. I mean as good as a bra now can fit me.
The bottom wrinkling is minor and is evident on almost everyone in this bra. It's either a construction thingie or a +0 fitting thing. So no I don't think that's enough to say it doesn't fit.
There is however a hidden problem going on here. It's not a Bratabase fit issue and it will never show on pics. So this is a bra fitting challenge where I wonder if anyone can tell what is happening here. And again; remember, you cannot see it! You'll have to think very very hard.

helpfulI haven't yet figured out what the "hidden issue" is... I just want to say that the Andorra looks absolutely stunning on you. I love love love the uplifted "vintage" shape! I don't think you look "pointy", though. I think your shaping looks natural (and lifted, although I'm suggesting that only because I'm familiar with Andorra).
Do you find the cups to be almost too stretchy? I had an Andorra (deep purple) that was much too small, so maybe this issue was caused by the size. The longer I wore it, the more the cups seemed to smooth out, so they'd lose that vintage uplift look. My husband always complained that I looked "too pointy" when I'd first put on the bra, but gradually the shape softened out, which he thought looked better.
If I looked like you in an Andorra I'd remortgage my house so I could buy a lifetime supply!

helpfulIt does look really good on you and the wires look wide enough!
I looked at the pictures before I read what you wrote and in that one close up picture I was wondering if the wire might be cutting into breast tissue on the bottom, even though it doesn't really look like it. Only a little bit maybe because of shape. And then you said the hidden fit issue so that's my guess!
My other guess was going to be the centre gore is too wide/high but that is a bratabase fit issue. Is the centre gore good for you, out of curiosity?

SuperSecretL You are the closest to finding out the issue :)
MilkAndHoney Vee ShaniSunAZ BumbleBean prettyNpetite : Another hint is that I'm quite determined to get a Panache Jasmine (6951) in the same size.
Also I'm thinking there might be some construction problem with Andorra in general because everyone seems to have those bottom wrinkles in this bra. Some more, some less. But almost everyone has at least *some* bottom wrinkling going on.

You now think you need more immediate cup projection.
-
Vee Almost there! Because that's the solution on the fit issue. So I have a 32H Jasmine on the way.
And here ping ShaniSunAZ MilkAndHoney BumbleBean prettyNpetite
Now if SuperSecretL and Galactica theories is combined with my need for more immediate projection what is the result of a too separated/shallow gore? I think to even have this fit issue boobs needs to be splayed and shallow because it's certainly not a common one.
However almost everyone needs to size up in Panache compared to say Freya and I think this is the reason.

helpfulIs the inner sling maybe cutting breast tissue a bit causing in cup weirdness?
Anyhow, I think you might as well mark this one as fitting

Bet you're right Vee! The Inner Slings!
Branarchist, are the slings pushing in the wrong places? Sometimes slings aren't far back enough for me.
Also - Re: the bottom wrinkling. Honestly I think that's just the way the bra is constructed.
It's funny - on me I thought of the Andorra as a rather modest, full-coverage, every-day type of bra, but on you, Branarchist, it looks positively glamorous. You need to drape a feather boa around your shoulders and say, "Daahhhling..."

helpfulThis looks absolutely stunning on you!
As to the hidden fit issue, I don't know ... the side seam is slanting backwards a bit suggesting a (very) mild case of wire distortion or wire tilt but I have seen much worse on you, so I don't think this is it. Besides, side seam issues are something visible and if you say we cannot see it ...
Hmmm.
You didn't 'swoop & scoop' properly (whatever 'properly' means)? If that is it, then I'd say to hell with swooping & scooping, because you look absolutely glorious. Besides, if not swooping & scooping properly does not result in wires sitting on breast root, does it qualify as a fit issue?
I really don't know ... hint, please?

helpfulFor the hidden issue, my guess is the bottom of the center gore is too wide, but the top is ok, so the bottom center of your breast are under the wires : too much / \ and not enought _|_ (imagine there are 2 curves)
(I have just discovered your "game", fun idea !)

It looks like it fits well :) It's looks a little tight in the back but hey, it's you wearing the bra and if you say the band is fine, the band is fine :)
