Issue resolved
Bra just doesn't fit
Original problem
This bra plain doesn't fit me. I'm not sure if the shape is wrong, the cups aren't large enough, or the wires are wrong? The wires dig in on the sides and there's some quadbooking going on. Also the gore does not tack. So many things wrong! I think it's the cups that are not right, thoughts? Suggestions please! =)

helpfulI am also narrow-rooted & round/fuller on top and experienced similar fit issues with the Cloud Swing I tried from this brand. It appears not to provide sufficient lift OR support for you, and I doubt going up a cup or two would resolve it. My guess is that the cups are too shallow and the wires too wide in this style. Too bad, though, it is a really pretty bra.

helpfulI would put you at a 36GG. Did you swoop and scoop?

I did yes. Maybe this style just isn't for me... Do you have any suggestions for other bras to try?

lechevalnoir Ok, it's hard to tell by the pictures but I think you have closely set breasts so you're going to need a narrow center gore that is also tall because you will fall to the center in a plunge (am I on the right track?) also the cup construction with a diagonal seem is probably not going to work with your breast shape so try bras with vertical seeming. I would try a masquerade rosetti in a 36 GG( or 38 G, the band is extremely tight and the cups are slightly generous). and maybe a curvy kate tease me in a 36H or 34 HH(loose band), or a cleo darcy(or one with similar construction). Try brastop.com, http://www.belle-lingerie.co.uk/, or simplybeach.com . Hope this helps some, and feel free to respond with further questions

synchrolover85 Yes! I always fall to the center in plunge bras. Not cool! I'll keep my eyes out for some of those you suggested. I have to return a bra to Nordstroms today actually (that I was falling out of) o I might peek around there! Thanks.

lechevalnoir oops I got them confused not the rosetti, the medina http://www.ebay.com/itm/190829458414?var=490145846030&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 here

helpfulAs the other commenters suggested, if your breasts are very close-set, this style might not work for you at all (it sure does not on me).
Try pushing the center gore against your breast bone. Do the wires rest on your breast tissue? Do you get quadboob?
Your measurements state that your ribcage is 91.4cm/36in wide, but the stretched band apparently measures 101.6cm/40in. Are both those measurements correct? Then the reason for the center gore not tacking and the overall lack of support might be that the band is simply too big for you. Also, I'm amazed that a band could stretch as much as 25.4cm/10in! I'm not very familiar with this band size, but is that normal?

It definitely can be normal for larger band sizes to stretch. Some of it will depend on the material used, but a lot of it is due to the fact that there is more band material than underwire, and so it's subject to more stretch than a smaller band which has a greater portion of the band taken up by underwires.

helpfulI will repeat what I said on your other fit request; try a 36GG Andorra Also you could try leaning over 90 degrees to see if you will have extra tissue joining from the back

Ha, awesome thanks! How stretchy are the bands on that Andorra?
-
Oh I'm sorry for forgetting to answer; It's quite firm actually, not like Freya and it's kind of extra stable since it has a lace thing underneath the band :)

Ok, good. Thanks for confirming what I was kinda thinking. This is going to be a long and interesting process finding something that fits well. Do you have any suggestions for ones to try? What has worked well for you?
