Bra fitting help » 32D after wearing 34A's for ten years
Victoria's Secret » Angels Darling Twist Front Push-up Bra (296-303) » 32D 32:4
Issue resolved
Found out that the size is off and the fit could be better. I'm going to try 30DD and 30E in a bra that has a narrowed center gore and demi/half cup style to see if it would fit better.
I got a lot of very good advice, thank you!
Original problem
I have always worn too big of a band and too small cups (34A and 36A's) until I finally got professionally sized at Nordstroms recently. I was measured as a 32D, with my under bust measurement being 29". Needless to say I have a lot of remigration work to do with my boobs being squashed all over my chests, armpits and who knows where!
With this 32D plunge bra from VS, I am not sure if I'm fitting in to the cups properly. It is a push-up (shape-wise) but does not really have any padding. The band seems fairly snug and comfortable, but I have to wear it on the second hook.
I would really need to find a reasonably priced bra to help me bring in the migrated tissue as well as help me get more projection as my breast are currently wide and on the flatter side.
Thanks for your help!

helpfullooks to me like it's cutting in a bit on the left side. you might want to try dropping to a 30 band if you're already having to use a different hook. it's also really hard to diagnose fit problems with a molded cup. you provided your underbust measurement - could you provide the measurement around the fullest part of your bust?
i think maybe a cup size up would help out on the left side. so a 30E perhaps?

does your bust measurement change when you lean over? i measure 36.5" standing but 38" leaning over, and i wear a 30FF pretty comfortably. if it stays pretty much at 36" whether standing or leaning, 30E might still work :] and if you think you're full on bottom, the cleo lucy is a pretty common bra to try out

That was actually my leaning over measurement (36"). If I stand up, I'm 34.5". So even 30DD could maybe work? Do you know if Victoria's Secret's bands are generally tight-fitting or more lose vs. other brands? At the fitting they were confident that 32 should be tight enough, but they are using the method of adding 2-3" to your band size so I'm not sure. Thanks again for your help Emmeth.

well, seeing as the 32D is cutting into your left side, i'd say you have to at least go up one cupsize to 30E, since the 32D is equivalent to a 30DD. VS bands are supposed to be super stretchy.
since you're not using the last hook i'd definitely say drop to a 30 band, at least to try it out once. you can try ebay for cheap bras. most of them come from the UK though, so it's a pain to return them if they don't fit. if you're in the states, i'd say try from nordstrom since they ship and return for free and then turn to ebay when you're comfortable with your size
edit: also, np! i'm glad to help :]

helpfulI agree with Emmeth, I think sizing down on the band and sizing up in the cup could definitely make a (positive) difference.

helpfulI agree, try a 30 DD or 30 E. Some sites that would be helpful are http://www.belle-lingerie.co.uk/ http://brastop.com/ http://lovebras.com/ and curvesandme.com (only UK) if you live in the US check out Nordstrom rack or if you're in the UK I think Marks and Spencers has 30 bands. Try plunge bras or bras with narrow center gores, because your boobs seem fairly close set. Also sites for additional information http://www.investinyourchest.co.uk/

Thank you @Synchrolover85 – very helpful links, I will be sure to check them all out. I live in US and was hoping to go in a store (vs. shop online) to be able to actually test with a few sizes, models and brands. After determining what fits best, ordering online shouldn't be a problem.
I actually went to Nordstrom a few days ago for the fitting, and as they were 100% sure that 32 is my band size, I didn't question that to even try on anything smaller. I guess I need to make another trip to see what all would be available in band size 30 as Myrabella and Emmeth seem to agree on downsizing the band size. Thanks again for help – You guys are the best!
PS. I posted photos of my other VS bra that fits even worse (http://www.bratabase.com/troubleshoot/dhzok/). I'm hoping to determine if it's also a cup shape issue, and I think you are very much on the right track by suggesting narrow center gores :)

Molli I looked at your other fit request and I think that a good bra for you would be a Parfait Charlotte (http://www.breakoutbras.com/product/Parfait-Charlotte-Padded-Underwire-Bra/Underwire-Bras) it has a narrow center gore and support on the side (which you mentioned to help remigrate tissue) or the delphi from Masquerade (http://www.ebay.com/itm/271191600327?var=570152829127&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649) it doesn't have the side support but I have it and it has a narrow center gore and would likely work for shallow breasts. Hope this helps!

Wow! I really like both of the bra's you suggested and the prices seem very reasonable! Very pretty indeed and the shape + center gore would probably work wonders as all the 32D bra's I have tried on this far seem to be cutting into the breast tissue in the center gore no matter how low-rising the gore has been. Thanks a lot @synchrolover85!

Thanks for the comments Emmeth. I measure 36" around the bust. With this specific bra I am having a little bit of trouble scooping the migrated tissue in and sometimes the bra seems to cut in (especially on the bigger left side) even a little worse. I am thinking this bra shape might not be the best possible option as far as fit goes as I am more full-on-the-bottom.
