Issue resolved
HI Ladies,
For some reason bratabase rejected all but one of my pictures, even after they had been up two days, so I am taking this fit request down. I got enough advice and thoughts on this bra as everyone agrees it is a good fit. Turns out this bra comes in more than three other colors in my size (some discontinued but still on ebay)so I am going to have some fun trying them on. Will be trying other bras suggested to me and thanks ladies! I finally have a bra that fits thanks to all of you.

Original problem
HI Ladies,
I decided to try on the 34D, not DD. The bra is slightly big in the cups, but not terribly bad. I feel comfortable in the band. It looks tighter than it feels. I had this bra on for awhile today and it was not uncomfortable. There is some space at the top of the cups but no gaping. The underwire on this bra fully encases my breast tissue at the sides too, which seemed to be my main problem with cups. I honestly feel this bra will work for me, it may not be perfect but its certainly wearable in my thoughts. Would like opinions though. I do also have this in the DD cup but I know it would be too large. Hope someone thinks this works for me.

helpfulIs it possible to have someone take a picture of you with your arms down?

RADIO10465 sometimes when you raise your arms it minimizes the look of tissue outside of the bra. I don't see any tissue outside the bra but I want to be sure.

Hi Synch,
I will take some. I just wondered why. A band size up is too big in this bra though. Will post some pics in a moment if you can look ?

Hi Synch,
Ok those pics are going up now. Thank you!

I think the band looks great, I also wear a 34 band and it looks like it digs in but it's not painful at all and if I go up a band size it rides up. I definitely think that a 34 is the best band size for you, it may take some getting used to but there are no bulges, and it's not riding up.
-
RADIO10465 It looks good to me, I don't see any tissue outside the cup the band is level, the wires encase your breast tissue. I can't spot any issues, other than the space that you noted which I suspect will go away as tissue migrates. Plus the bra is adorable!
-
God bless you lol!
This has been a 5 year journey for me, and you dont know how great it feels to have something now that I can work with. I am so sorry if it ever seemed I snapped at you or pressured you into agreeing with me, I didn't mean it that way. Black and white words cant convey tone of voice. I am still just trying to learn.
The band feels a little like it digs in, but it is easy to hook. Its snug, I wont like, but its not restricting breathing or anything. There was a red mark from the band but I got those in 38s too. Thanks synch, really. My journey is not over by far but if this bra works out for me, it comes in two other colors.

RADIO10465 I understand how frustrating it is to not fit into any bras, I went from a 38DD to a 34GG it's definitely a process but after a couple months your boobs look amazing, their shape improves and you feel so much better about yourself. You also get used to the band soooo quickly. I'm just glad I was able to help, and I'll keep an eye out for future fit requests. Hopefully you will be able to find other brands and styles that work for you. I know you tried the curvy kate thrill me, but I think that the tempt me would work better. It's extremely shallow with wide wires, and it may be worth giving a shot. :)
-
The tempt me is worth looking into, and there are still some bras Vee linked me to that I would like to try. So the cups on this look ok then? Not unwearably huge?

RADIO10465 Definitely not unwearably huge.

helpfulHi RADIO10465,
I'd say this bra is by far and away the best bra for you that you have posted! The band looks really supportive - it isn't riding up and the tiny bit of digging in will pass as the bra stretches. You'll probably find that after a few weeks as well some of your tissue may well migrate so you'll find that the empty space in the cups will get filled- you may even need the DD.
It's a lovely bra and I'm so pleased you've found one that works so well for you- especially after all the different ones you've tried and struggled with!

Gosh thank you!
Yes there is a tiny amount of digging in, but like you said, the bra is new and that will pass! The band hooked more easily than I thought, just a little bit of pulling. i will hang on to that DD because there might be a need for it, as it seems my cup size is already going up now that I put a bra on correctly.
I could just cry from happiness right now. I did have to mail order this bra but hey, it fits! I found this one at heathers dressing room for only 18 dollars. Dillards charges $38. One question, I do get red marks from the band, is that ok?
RADIO
-
I sometimes think that red marks is a good thing- it shows that the band is anchoring to your body and doing its job! One blogger puts it this way: 'if a pair of jeans or leggings leaves a red mark at the waist after a full days wear- would you decide they were the wrong fit if everything else about them was perfect? No, you'd just think it was a quirk of the fabric.'
I get red marks from some of my bands- my skin is mega sensitive and fair so it shows everything up really vivid - and I find that applying body lotion after taking it off does help - plus you should find that it calms down once your body adjusts to the band. :)
-
thank you.
So the cups dont seem unwearable then? I think my mind is still saying "you are a B cup" . D still seems kinda big even though I know its not.

Looks pretty darn close to me. If it were me, I'd want higher wings, but I would still wear the bra and consider it a fit. Yay!
-
It's much better for the cups to be a little big than a little small- and trust me - given 6/8 weeks there won't be any space in those cups :)
I think I good thing for you to do would be to look at the pics of you in this bra compared with the ones of you in the 36Bs and 38Bs you were wearing before - you'll notice a massive difference- your posture is better now, your waist looks smaller and your boobs do have more projection - I think it will help you see that you are a 34D, at least in this brand.
-
HI Vintage,
I did look back at those picture and I can definetly see a huge difference. This bra is going to work for me, and it comes in other colors too which I am going to grab up.
Someone did mention higher wings, wondering what that means exactly?
RADIO
-
The wings are the pieces of fabric on the band directly behind the wires- they're are very very supportive- and a higher wing is thicker so it comes nearer to your arm pit.
Tbh, I think if you can find something with a higher wing, it would be good for you to try it- some people do prefer a higher wing (I know I do, but that's coz I have a crazy long torso). You might find that you love it, but on the other hand you might find it uncomfortable.
-
Hi
That's what I thought lol. Higher wings haven't been a prob but that was also in ill-fitting bras. Would gladly try them again. U did think this bra fits right? It also comes in black, white, and fuschia! I want to try all three, would any not work under clothes? I heard different colors also may run small like black.
Radio
-
It definitely fits! Definitely definitely! And who cares if the colours you buy might show thru some clothes- I'd buy it anyway and just wear it under darks! And yes the black may run slightly smaller :)
-
Lol just checking,
The fuschia is on sale right now, $14.99 if my local store has it. The ladies in the store will ask to fit me when they see me with that size but these gals had me at 36A . It's shocking how off they are,

helpfulYes, this is by far the best of the bras you put up for fitting help
Even your posture looks better in it
It doesn't look big at all.
What I do see in the last photo (6/6) is the boning poking something that might be your boob.
So you should do this
http://bustyresources.wikia.com/wiki/Scoop_and_swoopThe back look fine. You got yourself a keeper

HI Vee,
I notice that too in the last picture. I think more vigorous sns will help.
I do wonder though, might it be a size issue I should think about? It is only very slightly poking as it were, I honestly did not even notice it wearing the bra.
The bra came to me packaged with one cup folded under the other, and the side boning was a little bent to be honest. I am hoping that will go away with proper storage.

Hi Heleana
Yes I know what you mean about a higher wing, but the bra does fit. I am also all about wider bands but now that I am in a better bra, I can see i dont necesarily need a wider band, just one that fits like this does.

HI,
yes but may I ask why that makes a difference?
