Bra fitting help » Is this cup too small? Or a good fit?

Issue resolved
Looks like this is a shape mismatch. I need a deeper cup that has a lower apex. It still looks great under low cut tops, though. So I'm keeping it in the rotation.
Original problem
I think this fits, but was told when asking on a previous bra I need to be looking for more depth in the cups. I'm not full on top, as I have breastfed, but this bra pushes me up and gives me the look I'm going for. I'm unsure if I should go 1 cup size up, however. This bra gives me the littlest overspill when I inhale or push my shoulders back. However, when sitting or slouching my shoulders while moving, there is slight gaping. While standing normally, there is no overspill and only the tiniest gap at the strap. It looks mostly smooth under clothes, but does show the overspill and gaping when I move around. I also cannot wear it with higher cut necklines as it does emphasize the overspill/slight cutting in). One cup size up would give a little more depth, which I would appreciate as I sometimes get a hint of areola at the top (I do have high nipples) and the wires would go a bit more under the arm (the wire is right next to tissue, but isn't uncomfortable or painful). I do worry 1 cup size up would be too wide for me in the straps and the wires would come up too high under the arm. Basically, am I in the right cup size? The band fits well on me - tighter would be uncomfortable and would pull, and it is snug on the loosest hooks. This style provides good support and seems to fit my shape well overall, but I'm unsure of sizing.

helpfulI used to own this bra, and I found that it requires a significant amount of broadness in the roots. If you size up, it is possible that there will be empty fabric at the outside parts of the cups (near your armpits). I guess it's worth it to also try 30FF and keep the size that you feel fits you better. I myself had this bra in 28DD and 28E so I could compare the fit.

helpfulI always have what you are describing with padded bras; they are perfect when I am in rest, but gap when I hunch, and quad a bit when I push my shoulders back. I'm not sure if it's a shape/size issue or just a consequence of the padding, as in, the stiffer fabric just doesn't mould itself to the boob the way a unlined bra does. I'm leaning towards the latter, and have decided that these bras are ok for under certain clothes, but not so good for under others.
However, I may be wrong, so perhaps someone with more experience can weigh in here...
