Bra fitting help » Gapping in top of cup.

Issue resolved
I tightned the straps, which lessened the gap.
Original problem
I'm not sure how big of a deal this issue is, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to post a fit-help.
There is minor gapping in the top of the cup, and the wires are about 1" wider than my roots. (Maybe I'm not as wide-rooted as I thought I was!) It is quite cumfortable though!

helpfulI loved this bra! I agree, it is super comfortable. On to the fit questions though!
1) Is the gaping in one or both cups? (it appears to only be one, but just checking)
- If it is both, try adjusting the straps, or you might need to size down.
- If it is only one, adjust the strap, add an asymmetry pad, or embrace your boobs as they are - every boob is a little different
2) Does tightening the straps fix the problem, or make it worse?
- If tightening fixes the problem - great!
- If it makes it worse, it may be a bra shape issue (due to the wide-set straps)
- If you have any sewing skills, you can move the strap in toward the center a little bit. That way the strap will pull less from the edge of the cup (which can exacerbate gaping at the top/center)
3) Is it noticeable under a shirt?
- If no - great!
- If yes - is the bra comfortable enough/supportive enough/pretty enough that you don't care?Updated on September 19, 2015 Flag this

helpfulI'm not sure but it looks to me like its just expecting more upper fullness than you have. If it doesnt show under a shirt, I wouldnt worry. and wires being too wide is not a problem if its just a little bit and it doesnt cause the cup to be too shallow

Yeah, that would make sense. It's good to know that the wires shouldn't be a problem. Thanks for your help!

It was/is gapping in both cups, but the pic is of the bigger gap/smaller boob.
I ajusted the straps, and it did make it better, the straps are quite stretchy so I had to adjust it more than I thought I did. There is still the tineest of gaps but it doesn't show through when wearing a shirt.
I'll keep the idea of moving the straps in in mind if it gets worse.
Thanks for your advice!
