Issue resolved
I got some great suggestions, thanks everyone!
Original problem
First of all, this bra is my best fit, this is a request for further recommendations based on this.
I am fairly new to this, so I am probably wrong, but I think I am shallow, and even/fob.
So far this is closest thing I've found. It fits pretty well, except the wires are slightly too wide.
I also have a 28DD Freya Hopscotch Longline that fits fairy well, but again the wires are slightly too wide and there is some very slight gapping at the top of the cup. (Barely enough to even see, so I don't even know if this counts as a "problem".)
I'm considering the Cleo Marcie in 28D. I was also thinking that there might be some other Freya longlines that I could try (so as to avoid their infamously loose bands), or would all the wires be too wide?
Any recommendations would be apprecieated!

helpfulNot an expert in your size range, but I suspect FOB but tall root. A little lace wrinkling is no big deal, esp if it doesnt show through a shirt - i have had some like that that didnt show.
Marcie is pretty FOT friendly, at least in larger sizes, and I think they discontinued 28FF?
I keep thinking some of the half-cup-ish Ewa Michalaks . . . but going polish is a bit far to go, maybe. hopefully someone else will chime in.

helpfulI think dbmamaz meant to say Cleo discontinued 28D and DD, which they did in the Marcie unfortunately. Your best bet is ebay or r/braswap. I would agree you're likely FOB or even, with a tall root, average projection, and what appears to be fairly narrow roots. With your tall roots, most bras for FOB shapes will cut in to your roots. The narrowest wires you'll find in your size range are likely to be Freya unlined plunges, which unfortunately are mostly FOB friendly (except Rio and Gem) and pretty projected even in smaller sizes, so YMMV on the fit. I do hear Rio's band is TTS, however. Maybe Freya Starlet Vertical Seam Bra (1061)? Freya's longlines will probably all be very similar to hopscotch. Since you're new to this I won't overwhelm you with a ton of info, but you may get along with Ewa and Comexim half cups... should you decide to go the Polish route someday.

Marcie should work, it is an FOT friendly bra but you have tall roots and typically it's good for that too :)
You might want to browse around for secondhand EM and Comexims on here and r/braswap if you ever feel like exploring the polish side. Comexim does 60 (28) bands non-custom and EM is hit and miss on how tight their 65 (30) bands are. But I'd look around for EM 60DD/65Ds and Comexim 60Es (Euro sizing, no double letters!) if you want.

helpfulJust to say the bra looks lovely on you and looks like a good fit, of course you know best how it feels.
I have been thinking of getting this bra for myself (but have been dithering for ages) .
Is debernhams store available to you ? (they are on line) some of their own brand bras have narrow wires.
They also stock/sell "designer" brands Ted Baker and a few others sorry forgot which, not sure how much support they give as I'm sized out but I always look at them because they are so pretty!
They are mostly half cup and seem to have narrow wires, as I say I have not tried any on so just a thought you might find useful and worth a look.Updated on October 14, 2015 Flag this

Yes, I love it, and the color is amazing!
Debenhams seems to only stock matrix sizes, There are some 28 bands on bratabase, but from what I've seen they start at 30 on their website.
Thanks for your input though!

helpfulYou are similar to me in size and shape, except your rib cage is 1" smaller than mine.
I tried a Marcie and I just didn't like it. I stupidly did not add it on here. I don't remember any specific fit issue, but possibly there was a slight bagginess in the tops of the cups? The lace wasn't really flat or smooth on me, and I was really looking for that painted-on look. I didn't think the bra looked that great on me. It might be worth trying though.
For Cleos, I have had the most luck with the Cleo Lucy Balconnet Bra (5851). Mine is a 28DD and it looks painted on to my bigger side, and has a slight wrinkle on my smaller side. The wires are a tiny bit wide on me but not as bad as a lot of other bras.
I keep looking at Freya longlines but I never buy one because both the gore and the cups seem like they would be too wide.

Do you think that the Marcie would be a good choice though? Amazon still has one in stock.
The Starlet is georgeous! But the band stretches to 31", so I'm worried it would be way too big. Although I could always alter them down if the cups fit well... The Rio seems to have a more reasonable band length, but they start at DD which I think would be too big.
Polish bras sound like they may be good, but I don't think I'm ready to "take the plunge" yet. Perhaps when they have another sale.
Thanks for your advice!
