Issue resolved
Bra is too big, so I am going to try a smaller cup size. There may be a flaw out mislabeling because my bra is quite a bit bigger than others have measured.
Original problem
I like this bra and want it to fit . it's pretty supportive and the lace is nice and forgiving. However, the cups are a bit too wide and go under my armpits, causing some irritation. There is some wrinkling on my smaller breast. The gore hurt a bit at first against my sternum, but the fit was improved when I used the extender. Is it worth trying a smaller cup size or is this just not the bra for me?

helpfulI'd try a cup size down if you can. In this bra, you should fit it to your smaller breast. The stretch lace at the top of the cups makes them a bit forgiving, so it should be able to accommodate your larger breast even if you size down (it's actually not uncommon for FoB ladies to have to size down in Jasmine because of that stretch lace.) Smaller cups *should* give you slightly shorter and narrower wires, so those other problems may sort themselves out with a different size.
For that painful gore issue, you could try bending the wires away from you. I think I had to do the same thing when I had a Jasmine a couple of years ago. If that helps with the discomfort near your sternum, then you could keep wearing a 32 band if it feels comfortable (so 32GG). If it doesn't help, then going up to a 34 band (34G) may be best if you get another size since you said the discomfort was lessened when you wore an extender.

helpfulIt does look big or wrong shape, not sure. Well, leaning towards too big. When I have a bra that looks like that on me, I call it a bag-of-boob. Not sure why it looks like that.
But i was surprised because Jasmine doesnt usually fit like that. If you look here on this website, the average cup depth for jasmine in a 32H is 12.4 and you have it as 13.4 - huge difference. Which makes me wonder if there's a flaw? a wrong tag? Or did you just enter it wrong?
the best fit of the bras according to the way you entered it was your chantelle, and that you have measured as a depth of 10.2. which would make this way too big. I always look at cup depth before buying - cup sizes are not the same across manufacturers.

did you buy it new? and double-check the label?

It's new from amazon but definitely big compared to others. I'm going to try a cup size down.

helpfulYeah for Jasmine, this seems too big: typically your nipple should (more or less) be where the mesh material changes to stretchy lace. In your pictures, the apex seems quite a bit lower than anticipated for this bra. Also there shouldn't be any obvious wrinkling on top, because of the stretchiness.
I'd try at least 1 size down - 32GG - and maybe even 32G or 34FF?
Good luck figuring out your ideal fit in Jasmine!

helpfulThis definitely seems about a cup too big going by both photos, feel and measurements. Size down and cross your fingers

Thanks. I remeasured my chantelle and its closer to. 11.7. My jasmine though still measures about 13 and the cups are definitely 7 inches wide, which seems a lot bigger than others measured here.
