Bra fitting help » EM S style not fitting properly, cups may be too tall.
Ewa Michalak » S Orzechowa Pralinka (711) » 70HH 32:12
Issue resolved
I'll try some of the suggested fixes. Thanks everyone.
Original problem
I think the gore of the S style is just too high for me. I have very close set breasts along with pseudo-symmastia/tenting. I believe the cups are too big and tall in this 70HH, but I've tried a 70H in another S bra that the cups are too small and squish me.

helpfulTo me, it looks like you could possibly go down a cup size, but I'm going to tag gogobee and Chezeb3lla because they're experts on fitting with implants. There's definitely some sort of shape mismatch going on here if it doesn't fit in the smaller size and is gapey in this one. I think many augmented ladies end up preferring Ewa's PL cut. It has a lower gore, and the cup shape is less closed at the top.

helpfulI'm think it is an incompatibility issue. Why? Because I have the same issues myself. The S in the right size is too high in the gore, cup shape is all off, but volume is correct. The only S style I have gotten to work in the right volume is Pralinka, which is a total fail on most women. The cups are tall. It works for me because I have a wider BWD on a shorter torso. My implants are pretty up there towards my collarbone. That cup height causes it to fail on many women.
Going down a size won't solve the problem. You could try, but the cup shape will push your implant upwards into the pocket, distorting your shape. I did this for about two years with mine. Recently I have stopped and I have had to go up a size as my implant is massaged back down. It really alters the shape of the breast slowly over time.
A different S may work for you, but I think you're at the point where you just need a good fit! With the natural tenting I would suggest a PL cut instead. I have close cleavage as well and the PL works quite well. But surprisingly the CHP does too. It is a great cut to have a slightly floatin gore, as long as your breasts do not spill towards the center. I would find your fit in another cut, get a good (comfortable!) fit, then reasses the S fit. That's the point where I am. I have just ordered my first S after several months of not wearing them.Updated on November 12, 2015 Flag this

Thanks for the help! I tried a cup size down in Szykuś but it does exactly what you said! I've been looking on Ewa's website and they don't have any CHPs in a size I need but they do have a few plunges. I want to try the plunges for sure. I just want to wait at this point with the holidays coming up on top of the normal wait times, plus how much we'll be out of town, I don't want to chance a lost package again. So, after Christmas, I'll definitely be getting at least one plunge.

helpfulI see a little gapping at the top, is that what you mean? Have you swooped and scooped? that loos so shallow at the bottom, I'm surprised. Mine (in a 75J and 75JJ) are like cups of boob lol. Oh, but you are probably firmer . . . I wonder if the PL would fit you?

Yea, the gaping is what I'm talking about. I don't fill up the tops of the cups enough. It creates the gaping and the fabric is too loose up there and wrinkles pretty badly under clothes.

helpfulI had the same problem as wearing s cut. For me, it happened because of the strap set. it was too far. I handled the problem by altering the straps. this way may be of help to you.

helpfulThe wires look like they are in the right place to me too, it looks like you could try a cup size down. The straps look like the lie to close to the arm pit

To me it looks a size too big. All the S styles I have tried so far have fit pretty differently despite being the same size. The 2 that I currently still own 1 is almost too big and 1 is slightly too small also ones taller and ones shorter, so there is a lot of variation. Maybe that could explain why the 70H you tried was too tight? I also feel like the apex on some of the S styles I've tried have been higher which is a problem for me. I don't do great with high gores either but some of the S styles have more narrow ones than others so I've been able to make it work occasionally. My Prezaplantanki has wires that are almost overlapping at the gore, my Colette is wider. To me it looks maybe like the bra has too high of an apex for your tissue distribution. Now with all that said, Pralinka is the most wonky bra! It was a bad experience for all but 1 of the ladies that tried it. And all in different ways too! It was 2 cups too small in the usual size of one gal. Too big for others. Way too short for some and way too tall for others. It was a mess. I don't know if I'd suggest basing future sizing off this one necessarily :/
