Bra fitting help » Missing fit issue but what is it?!?!
Anna Pardal For Comexim » Hibiscus Classic Plunge » 30FF 30:8
Issue resolved
Anna emailed me and I'll be swapping for a larger cup. Will update when I receive it.
Original problem
Obviously it's to small... But what I need to figure out is what's going on with all my bras. Clearly I'm missing something (aside from growth because my boobs like to grow when I find a bra that fits perfectly)
So here are my other bras that have fit or I thought didn't fit. I feel like with my 60HH - Comexim » Poppies Biustonosz (313) and 60HH - Comexim » Veronique (362) that a major fit issue may have been missed because of the tall cups. Also my 60H - Comexim » Brigitte Biustonosz (332) fit great until my boobs grew. My only semi fitting current bra is 65F - Ewa Michalak » Pl Cappuccino (316) but as seen in the current pics vs original I've grown. Any suggestions would be great. I've updated my measurements.

helpfulWell, the annoying thing is, boobs don't stay the same shape or keep the same dimensions as you grow. So there's not really a way to detect "what is the issue here apart from growth" because growth is likely the main issue. Those 60HH Comexims looked like a nice solid fit at the time you photographed them. But that was then, and as you grow, you tend to acquire more and more center fullness and root height, so cup shapes that fit before won't fit anymore. (And vice versa--when a person loses breast volume they can often start wearing bras that previously cut in on them on the inner quadrant but on the other hand they'll have more trouble with too-tall cups or too-long wires.)

Well to be fair, you are... you'll always be one step behind the Boobie Deities though, because the shape issues will change every time you grow. They like to keep you on your toes even when they're answering prayers :-D

helpfulNo expert but it looks to me like your boobs are more tall rooted/top heavy/ maybe also center heavy for these bras?

Braless I'm more even but favor bottom. I've just recently started to get more top tissue.
-
Braless i fit bottom heavy too, but in a bra I'm very top-heavy. What matters is how you fit in a bra.
-
Good to know. I've always heard you need to know if your FoT or FoB naked boobed when finding bras that will fit your shape but didn't realize it was how you fit in the bra that mattered.
-
dbmamaz I'm the same way-- appear bottom heavy when braless, but FOT bras fit best.
pumkinswife I second her suggestion that you may be too FOT and center heavy for these bras. I know my Ewa Michalak S accommodates my center fullness a bit better than my APs-- I think it might just be because the gore is a little higher, so you may want to try AP's half-cup cut, or ask for a raised gore.
-
Yeah I think it was PetiteCollegiate or lcl0706 that suggested trying the half cup but I'm worried it will be to wide.
-
pumkinswife I'm ordering one this week, and think it should be here around Christmas if it's on time. If you want to wait, I can let you know what the measurements come out to and how the cup width compares to my other bras? We're wearing fairly close sizes.
-
I'm hoping Anna will swap for a cup size up or many the Nuance (I think that's what it's called) cut. But definitely let me know the measurements and such. I think your the first to order a Half Cup AP so your review will help alot of people I'm sure.
-
Also imabratinfluence is your 30G AP really only 7.8in depth?!?! I think I might need to remeasure mine if that's the case.
-
I'll double check them tonight, since I'm working on bras a little this evening anyway. But I will say my 30G AP Nuances look tiny in the cups.
-
Well I know this is not a helpful comment...but it looked great before you scooped/swooped :-(. Such a gorgeous bra! I hope They will swap it for you. Good luck!

pumkinswife So, before, I had measured the cup depth horizontally, sorta from wire tip to wire tip, if that makes sense. This time, I measured diagonally, sorta from the strap across the depth of the cup to near the gore.
That way, I get ~8.2 or 8.3" if I do it just right. A quick and sloppy diagonal measure yields 8" on the nose. That's better, but seems like not a huge difference?
-
I got 8.3in on this but that was doing the over the knee to help keep it open cause the top kept trying to fold down. Think I'll remeasure after work to double check that. Cause mine should be as deep as yours when its a size smaller and cup style smaller.
-
pumkinswife I think if yours is the balconette, I wonder if it might actually have about the same cup depth. Plunges are often a little shallower than balconettes.

Yeah just wasn't sure if I was missing a shape issue. Guess this is what happens when 20 years of praying for big boobs finally catches up with you LOL
