helpfulare you saying you have the in-cup quad problem, where the seam cuts in? I think thats what I see with the shirt on? I have that problem with marcie - i dont wear it out of the house unless i'm wearing super thick-and-loose clothing. Havent figured out what to do about that. the other side looks like its gapping a bit at the top?

I think the cup was gaping because I brought my arm around to depress the shutter button ;-) Otherwise, both sides in-cup quad. Thank you for identifying that :-) I'll try the Lucy...

jcupjedi I strongly prefer the Lucy color. I'm a minimalist and want just three bras; black, nude, and one other. Lucy will work well :-)

helpfulI see what looks like a few issues.
The band looks like it might not be giving you enough support. Given that you've marked the bands on some 30-band bras as ok for you and your measurements, I'd say the band is a little bit too big.
It does look like you're spilling over on the side. I can't quite tell where the wire points, but it looks like it might be towards the front half of your armpit, rather than the middle. You might need wider and higher wires. The bra also looks a bit short for your root height.
As dbmamaz mentioned, in-cup quadboob seems to be a side-effect of the Marcie for some people.
Did you swoop-and-scoop?
I'd suggest that your next bra be a 30F (one cup up from sister-sizing down) or even 30FF, designed for a slightly shallower shape with wider roots. I tried searching bratabase for wider, taller wires on a 30 band. Options include:
http://www.bratabase.com/browse/panache/andorra-full-cup-bra-5675/30FF/
http://www.bratabase.com/browse/cleo/mimi-8091/30FF/http://www.bratabase.com/search/?q=30&units=0&stretched_band_length_min=&stretched_band_length_max=&band_length_min=&band_length_max=&cup_width_min=13.7&cup_width_max=17&cup_depth_min=20&cup_depth_max=24&wire_length_min=27&wire_length_max=30&strap_width_min=&strap_width_max=&gore_height_min=&gore_height_max=&wing_height_min=&wing_height_max=#results-header was my search. It was quite approximate; feel free to play with the parameters.
If you try this advice, I'd like to hear how it goes, and whether it's accurate or totally off-base.

My back is "out" and swoop and scoop generated intense pain: no swoop and scoop. I think you are right: I need longer wires, a bit more width, and a bit more depth. I'll swoop and scoop in a few days when my back no longer screams ;-)

I hope your back feels better soon!

Thank you :-) It is better. :-) Swoop and scoop results in a surprising amount of center fullness which I "never" have. Overall, although I adore the lift and centering, I feel like an overstuffed sausage. Another user suggested I may need more projection. I "fit" into wide, shallow cups because they allow my soft tissue to stay in its low, wide, natural location: thank you gravity ;-) But, I suspicion these shallow, wide bras are what cause the aching I routinely experience. I wore a medium Blue Canoe unpadded,no wire bra for over a year with no pain. However, the straps would fly off several times daily and I began to find my breasts below the band: peek-a-boo. ;-) Wearing "small" in such bras keep the straps up, elastic under the breast, but the pain returns because of the smooshing. At this point, nudist colonies appeal strongly :-) :-)

Kali and Lucy are suppose to be "the same." I have the same problem with Kali but never with Lucy. I know the colors are not as cool as Kali but try a Lucy in the same size and see how that works for you!
