Bra fitting help » Band too big, cup shape not working

Issue resolved
I ended up going down a band, up a cup, and went Polish
Original problem
The first issue with this bra is the band. I have been working on finding even one bra that fits so it's been a little trial and error (I've mostly been Amazon shopping because of their free returns). Though I measure as a 32, I ordered this in a 34 because the last bra I ordered in a 32 was waaaaay too tight (though it was a different brand). Unfortunately, this is too loose in the band (right out of the package I can wear it on the tightest setting without an issue). So that issue I've basically solved on my own.
The other issue I'm having though is the cups. My biggest complaint is how huge the underwires. They basically run all the way to the back of my armpit. Since the cups are so wide, they're also too tall in the armpit area so they dig in. Also the gore doesn't tack, and when I push it flat it creates some quadboob. However, there is some gapping near the outside of the top even though there isn't enough room in the middle.

helpfulMost vertically seamed half-cups and padded bras, at least in UK and US brands, are going to be a poor fit for your shape. They run shallow, wide and often don't have much depth near the gore. You have a good deal of center fullness which means you need bras whose cups offer enough depth there. I see that you found a good fit in a 32GG Pour Moi bra which is only 12.5" deep in the cups, less deep than this Freya bra, so that suggests this is not a size problem but a shape problem.
I would suggest that you look at 3 part unlined cups (full cup, plunge or balconnet). If you are looking for young, cute styles you may like Cleo or other Freya options. If you really want something with foam cups, I agree with other commenters that the Polish brands could be a good bet.
For further fitting threads I would also suggest that you take the time to measure and enter your vertical breast perimeter and your lying down breast perimeter because "horizontal perimeter" is often far larger than the cup depth you need, unless you have zero "hang" when standing (this is the case with very small, self-supporting boobs or with folks who have recent-ish implants and next to no natural breast tissue).

helpfulFor overall cup volume, this bra is probably too small by at least 1 cup volume. You might find better fits in bras that are 34HH or 32J. As for the band, I see that your comfortable ribcage measurement is 33", so it might be a good idea to invest in extenders for your 32 band bras and rixie clips for your 34 band bras.
As for cups being too wide, this is a common problem for people who need bras that are GG+ or H+. Many (but not all) people in the GG+ or H+ size range find that only Polish brands make bras that are narrow enough in the wires. I recommend looking into EM and Comexim bras that have narrower cups and cups that are closer together.

helpfulFreya bands are notorious for running large so I would definitely recommend a 32 band if you want to continue with Freya. However, this bra is far too wide and shallow for you. I would also recommend you look at Polish bras such as Ewa Michalak and Comexim, they will have cups to suit your projection more and the wires will be much narrower.

helpfulAgreeing with other comments, but I think half cups are usually cut wide/shallow. If you arent ready to go polish you could try some Cleo bras or the Panache Envy (tho I'm finding Envy too shallow at the bottom. after almost 18 mo I'm ready to give up on it).
