Bra fitting help » 30FF gore fit, size/bottom fit
Panache » Tango Ii Balconnet Bra (3251) » 30FF 30:8
Issue resolved
Returned the Tango. Am trying out bras with narrower cups and lower gores.
Original problem
I'm not used to the gore touching my skin, but this seems uncomfortable rather than just new. The top of the gore starts to hurt a little after a while. Also, there is fabric wrinkling at the bottom/sides just so slightly.

helpful1. Cups are definitely too far apart for you. You would do better to research 30FF bras that have a cup separation that is less than 0.8". Polish brands are your best bet as they tend to offer a wider number of styles with close together cups. I see that EM has 30FF bras where the cup separation is between 0.5" and 0.7". Comexim also has a lot of stuff where the cup separation is 0.6" or 0.7". Also look into getting bras from these two brands where the underwires overlap at the gore. You may be able to ask for a custom alteration.
2. Looking at the wrinkling fabric at the outer lower edges of the cups, the bra appears to be not projected enough and not narrow enough for you. I think that an ideal bra for you would be just a smidgen narrower in the cups and have more immediate projection.

helpfulTango is well-loved by some people but fits horribly on others (the fit is laughable on me, as in, I have tried Tangos both i and ii and actually laughed out loud at the ridiculous appearance on my boobs). I'd try a Panache that is a bit of an easier fit like Envy, Andorra, jasmine etc.

helpfulI've never tried Panache bras because I was told that I needed bras with narrower cups and Panache doesn't have very narrow cups (except the sports bra, which I LOVE). Some brands that do have narrower cups are Fantasie, Parfait, Freya, and Lunaire. I really like my Lunaire bra, but I think they only go down to size 32 band.

Something narrower with more projection but also easier to get in the US - panache floris, jasmine, Andorra and Envy. I'd also try going down a cup size. Since you have extra fabric in multiple places and the bra feels too wide in more than one spot, combine with less than optimal lift - I think this bra looks too big on. maybe look for bra's whose width is closer to 5.5". There is a chance too that because the stretched length of the bra is the same as your comfortable ribcage that possibly the band is distorting the wires a bit and making the cup shallower than it seems as well as making the gore tack more strongly than it should. I'd still start with 30 bands. This band's measurements are a little firmer than I normally see in panache bands.Updated on April 25, 2016 Flag this
I don't know if this is relevant since it's the same bra but I tried the Tango in a 30F as well, and it was definitely too small, I had noticeable quadboob. I'm going to be trying a 32F soon in a few different bras to see if that helps.
