Bra fitting help » Good cup depth & shape, bad wire height, gore height?
Ewa Michalak » Chp Klaudyna (747) » 75G 34:9
Getting closer to finding ABTF & I think this is now my best fit thus far. I bought this on r/braswap. The cups fit almost perfectly. Great projection & depth that accomodates my inner fullness. There's a little space on the sides, but it's not too bad. The wires & cups come up too high on the sides & dig into my sides and armpits painfully (I'm short & short-waisted). The gore does not quite tack at the top. When I push in the gore, there is no quadding, but my breasts do wrinkle a bit, the gore/ wires seem to be sitting partially on my breast tissue--particularly in my larger left-breast. I think the gore is a bit high, but if lowered, I might have problems with breasts escaping? My underbust measurement is 32.5-33" so it is a little loose in the band. I previously tried Comexim Rita Plunge in 75HH (34G), but I had to smooth my breast tissue to the side due to quad-boob. Straps were a tad wide & cups a tad shallow, but otherwise perfect. Any recommendations of other bra models/ sizes to try? I'm thinking a Comexim Half Cup (The "Beauty" with 2 vertical seams) in 75HH or 75J next, with straps moved in 2 cm. I have not yet decided whether to request a reduced gore and/or reduced cup height. Thanks in advance!

helpfulI had the exact same issues with EM. The wires are super stiff, and the wing/gore was too high and stabbed me to death.

helpfulWait, did you say its too loose? But you have it on the loosest hooks? You can wear it tighter lol. I wear 75 in EM because some of her bands run really small. I close most of them on the 3rd set.
anyways, its a shame its too high - it is a half cup and fits well.

helpfulGiven how very projected you are, I think half cups of this design are always going to be a bit of an imperfect fit for you. To get adequate depth, you've had to size up to a cup volume where the wires are taller and wider than your anatomy. You can see this from the fact that the cup contains your tissue and looks beautiful but fits you MUCH more high-coverage than on other wearers, including stock photos. I would probably persist with Comexim instead since they are willing to customize.

helpfulAre you sure the band is lose? It looks like the cups are to small and the band it to tight to me. How lose is this on you?

The band is not a problem really. On the tightest hooks, it's fine. But, I can fit my whole hand under the band when on the loosest hooks. And, I can easily pull the center/ gore away from my body in the front--both signs that it could be loose. But, it's not that loose.
I re-measured my breast perimeter. My larger (left) breast vertical perimeter was about 11" and the horizontal perimeter was about 12"
The cups look too small? These are the largest cups (in terms of depth) that I've worn, and I'm not noticing quadding issues or anything. In fact, I thought the cups were a bit too big at first until I tightened the straps.
The problem is the strap width, width of the cups (digging into the sides of my arms), height of the wires under my arms (but I might be able to bend the wires so they fit more comfortably). Thanks.

Sound a lot like my ewa issues! if I could just slide each cup along the band to move the cups closer together maybe I wouldn't have minor Quading but more importantly I wouldn't have wire induced armpit sores .

Personally, I judge the band fit on the loosest hook because they tend to stretch quickly, but the band is not really a big issue. I'll have to look into alterations for this bra & alternate brands or custom orders for future bras because really the only "deal-breaker" is the underwires jabbing my armpits.
