Bra fitting help » One breast doesn't fill the top of the cup

Issue resolved
DressTheTwins thank you your suggestion led me to realize I was wrong about my shape! I'm projected at the bottom and shallow on top despite most of my tissue being on top of my nipple when I bend at 90 degrees. Many of my other bra fit issues make much more sense now!
Original problem
My right breast doesn't fill up the cup on the top. I'm not crazy about the shape for my figure, but I'm still trying to sort out what does look best on me.

helpfulThis bra is known for being very projected and it is probably too projected for you, especially at that seam.

helpfulYou don't appear to be sitting near the wire. It has enough apex projection for you, but not enough immediate projection. This was the case for me, too. When there was enough space at the wire, I experienced gapping at the top of the cup.
For giggles, wear this bra backward and try to fasten it. If it fastens easily, it is too small in the cup. If it is as difficult to fasten backward as forward, the band may be too small.
You may have better luck with Comexim or Ewa Michalak. because they have more immediate projection than this Curvy Kate.

helpfulIf the other side fits you well and you are satisfied with the overall fit, add a pad or two at the side where your smaller breast is.
If one has different sized boobs, the trick is to fit the bra to the larger boob and pad the smaller one.
But then I suspect it's not the whole issue. The stretched band measurement is smaller than your loose ribcage and very close to your tight ribcage, indicating that the band may be too small (you need to be able to breathe in a bra, after all).
This causes several issues:a) The center gore will dig in, causing pain. (A tight band is not the only possible reason for this, but it's the most common one.)
b) The underwires stretch with the band, making the wires and cups wider than they actually are. This causes a loss in projection in the lower cup, because the cups are being pulled out of shape. Also, sizing up in the band will result in a bra whose wires may end up noticably too narrow for you, sitting on breast tissue and hurting.
c) With an overly tight band, the cups appear smaller and shallower than they actually are.My suggestion is to start with a 30 band, unless a certain bra is known to run exceptionally large in the band.
You describe your shape as "wide root" and "full on bottom". Curvy Kate bras are often great for FoB shapes, but most of them have narrow wires and may not suit your wide roots very well.
Try looking into Cleo bras instead. Cleo Lucy (5851) is a bra that has (relatively) wide wires and usually works well on FoB shapes. If Lucy is also too narrow, maybe Cleo Juna Balconnet Bra (6461) and its numerous sister cuts are worth a try. Juna works well on FoB shapes.
Also, as far as I recall, Parfait By Affinitas Charlotte Padded Bra (6901) has both wide wires and a FoB-friendly shape, so this might be worth a try as well.Ewa Michalak was recommended to you as well and I support this suggestion. Based on your measurements, I'd order a 70 band, as the major part of her bras run considerably tighter than UK/US brands.
