Issue resolved
Comexim plunge was a better fit for me- more immediate projection and much lower cups and gore.
Original problem
My shape: Full on top, very short (4 inches tall) breasts, projected out to 14 inches around, omega shape, center full, narrow roots, splayed on bottom, touching on top.
Is this the way an Ewa Michalak is supposed to fit? Would a larger cup help or is this a shape mismatch? I feel crazy for not liking these bras after how much EM is hyped on Bratabase but I really don't like any of them and they don't fix my wires slipping out of my IMF issues.
The wires are narrow enough but I don't feel like I have enough projection at the bottom. At the same time the cup is verging on too tall. On my 2 cups smaller side it is too tall without two pads in (see angled pics). The gore is also super tall and my soft tissue pushes the gore out which causes destabilization. I feel lifted too much, causing my breast to literally fold on top, not a good look. All the projection seems to be at the apex, not the bottom, causing collapse at the bottom of the cup. I have similar problems in my new S as well. The BM is better but still not enough bottom projection. I would need a size up in the BM which EM does not make.

helpfulI think as dbmamaz has said the designer's herculean efforts to make the cup super rounded, are working against your natural shape. I think this is why it is collapsing at the base--this cup is compressing the most projected part of the boob back into your body, hence the doubled-upwards-into-itself crease at the top of the breast and no doubt if we had X ray vision we'd see a similar thing going on underneath at the base of the cup. I have fairly conical boobs and any bra cup that attempts to force me into a nice neat globe shape causes the same problem.

helpfulI'm surprised the gore is that high! I guess I forget that 100H is equivalent to a . . . 75KK? So, yeah, thats gotta be a big cup.
Ewa bras tend to be very round - it looks like round doesnt really work for you. I suspect you'd have similar fit issues with the FB. I mean, my boobs sag like crazy, but they are soft enough that you can gather them up in to a ball. But they also do well in longer, pointier bras like Jasmine.

You'd have to look at Ewa Michalak FB line - which I've heard great things about - there are reviews here, a few. But I just worry that the shape will still be wrong. You should look at some of the FB styles. She developed it specifically to support larger boobs - and thats what the positive reviews seem to focus on, how supportive it is. But they cost I think almost twice what her other bras cost.
In a 100 band, the smallest cup she has in an H. but those cups run large. anyways, worth thinking about. http://www.ewa-michalak.pl/eng_m_BRAS_FB-Full-Bust-Reinforced-Balconette-Bra-201.html

oh i should have read other comments first, sorry to be repetitive

No worries! I think for the trouble and cost it's probably not worth it to look at the FB range, considering they probably will end up being a full inch wider in the wires than the BM. The narrow wires and the softness of the band were what I really liked about the bra. Sad, I really wanted a Mojito.

helpfulDarn! I would say a cup size up but maybe this style is not quite right for you given the gore will not tack but maybe it would in a size up? I am finding Ewa to be stronger than Comexim as far as holding breast tissue up but ya, they pull everything all up.

helpfulHere I am in the BM which is a cup size too small it seems as I have in cup quadding: http://www.bratabase.com/bra/di88l/
And here I am in the S which is terrible, the wires are way too tall and jab my arms: http://www.bratabase.com/bra/di88n/

The PL cut is very shallow at the bottom of the cup, so I wouldn't have recommended it for you. The S can also be quite shallow at the bottom but I thought the depth at the wire improved as the size went up. The BM looks the best of the three and had you been able to get it one cup size larger it probably would have worked. I disagree with dbmamaz and think you might have better luck in the FB or maybe even the SF cuts. They're specifically engineered for your size, especially the FB, and I think it would be like the BM only better, with better depth at the wire, better support from the bottom, and made in your size.

Here are the measurements to the FB 95HH sister size of a BM 100H, the size I would need. It seems much wider and shallower a design than the PL, the S, or the BM, do you think it would work? It's very expensive so I wouldn't like to try it unless it seemed reasonable.

Yeah I'm on the higher end of sizing for users at Bratabase. Looks like I'm stuck with the two unlined Curvy Kate styles that actually fit me. It's such a shame because the wires were in the right place, but Curvy Kates are pretty narrow too and have better base projection. They just are scratchier and not very classy.
