Issue resolved
Band definitely to small. Shape mismatch not a good bra for me.
Original problem
I got my bra measurements from brasizecalculator.tk and they suggest I'm a 30DD or 32D. I ordered this Cleo Mddie in both sizes and neither of them fit correctly. Is it the band? The cup size? The wrong style? I think I'm FoB, Wide root, slightely splayed and projected. Maybe I'm wrong?

Have you scooped and swooped all your tissue into it, moving from sides towards the center?This looks to me like either a too small cup before scooping, or else a too small cup that is also too narrow so all your tissue can't get into it.

From what I see, it looks like the 32D might be the right size for you, but it looks like you have much taller roots than that bra is designed for, and maybe wider ones, too. In general, people with full-on-bottom breasts do better with styles that are less open on top, like three piece cups or more plunge-like cups. Half cups work best for people who have full-on-bottom breasts. I agree with wendybien's assessment that it looks like the cups are too narrow for you. 32D is a common enough size that you could probably go to a department store and at least try on some different styles of cups so you can figure out what works for you.

helpfulShallow to FOT bra, projected short rooted boobs. It also runs a cup size small even for shallow boobs, and the band is stretchy Have you tried Cleo Lucy? I don't think you would need a wider cup, your boobs are possibly being mushed under the wires if you feel the sides are too narrow, rather than the wires being structurally too narrow for you, you need more projection.

THanks for the quick reply! This is my first attempt to actually find a well fitted bra. Yes I did try the scoop and swoop but if I even raise my arms or move about normally it all just slides right back out.
I will look into bras that are wider and see if that makes a difference. Luckily I can return all 4 bras I ordered!
