Bra fitting help » Cone and quad boob, side spills over
Panache » Idina Plunge Bra (6966) » 32D 32:4
Issue resolved
To small cup and shape mismatch
Original problem
I got my bra measurements from brasizecalculator.tk and they suggest I'm a 30DD or 32D. I ordered this Panache Idina Plunge in both sizes and neither of them fit correctly. I get more quad boob in the 32D then I do in the 30DD. I also get cone boob. Is it the band? The cup size? The wrong style? I think I'm FoB, Wide root, slightely splayed and projected. Maybe I'm wrong?

helpfulYes I think you're trying bras with cups that are a hair too small and definitely too narrow for you. Do a search by measurements for cups about 8.5" deep and a good 6" wide. You need more wire width. Alternatively try wirefree options such as Freya Deco unwired.

The reviews for the Deco Soft cup are compelling. Several users report great support. :-)

Yes, in your size range a well-made, structured wire-free bra should provide good support, definitely enough to be comfortable! If it's just a shelf bra made of stretch fabric that is fairly useless but if it's a proper bra, most will work well.

helpfulI have an Idina Plunge in black. My closest fitting sizes seem to be 34FF or 36Fin other Panache but sometimes the cups on those are just a hair large, just not so large that I need to size down.. I had read this bra runs small in both band and cups so I ordered it in 36FF. The band just about fits without being too tight and the cups are perfect. You might try this one in 32DD with an extender for just one or two hooks or even a 32E.
I also have an Idina Balconnet in 34G latte and I actually like it better than the plunge. I wear it with an extender on just one hook. I get a little more uplift and centering than with the plunge.

Thanks again for the reply. Do wire free tend to give good support?
