Issue resolved
Returned bra. Will try cup size up.
Original problem
I'm concerned I need a cup size up, but I'm not sure. I'd love some advice on that so I can return it ASAP and get a size up if I need too, it looks like it's quadding a little and is super bouncy. The gore is only a soft tack.

helpfulI think the fact that the straps are quite wide on you is always going to make it a bit less stable, but I also think that the band's tightness is distorting the cups and pulling everything east-west when the cups are really designed to project nicely right out in front. Do you have a good extender (not the kind with a bit of elastic in the middle, the other type that just looks like a regular hook and eye tab)? I think if you can add about 1.5" to the band, you'll get a whole different perspective on the fit.
Bounciness is probably due to the type of fabric, the fact that there are no horizontal/diagonal seams, and the low cut which all provide less support than a bra with more coverage, which may or may not be to your taste. But most people do have a use for at least one very low cut bra for certain outfits.

helpfulImo there is no quadding at all and the bra fits you quite well. If you think the band is too tight you could also let it dry having fixed it around a chair's back.

helpfulI am not bra fitting expert so take this with a grain of salt. I think you could go up one cup size. My Hm Sekret Wiktorii's cup depth is similar to my horizontal breast perimeter number. It fits me well that way. Your bra depth is just over an inch smaller than your horizontal breast perimeter. So I think you could go up one cup size and try to match those numbers for less bubbling up. (Note: If you check out my pics, I have reduced upper fullness with tall shallow upper roots so that is what causes gapping at the top of my cups at times and nothing to do with the horizontal measurements,)

With me I think the issue is my omega shape. My narrow roots mean I usually wear a 11.5-ish cup depth.

Ohhhh! Gotcha!! I wish I was omega shaped and have no experience in fitting that shape...but I am trying to be happy with me. Hope you find your answer!

I do have an extender, which I should probably try. At least it will add some extra wear to the bra if it works. I'll try it tonight and report.
