Bra fitting help » Size Advice after Comexim 70L?
Comexim » Annika Half Cup » 70L 32:12
Issue resolved
Returned bra. Probably need a smaller cup and a smaller band.
Original problem
Gapping in some places, quadding in others. Band feels too loose (on tightest hook in these photos). Gore doesn't tack. Any advice for next size to try? I'm thinking 65L/70K.

helpfulI think you're right on the money with 65L/70K, This is just way too big.

I think 70.

You might have a better fit with the plunge in 65L/70K instead of the half cup, too (probably with the standard set of alterations......reduced cup height, straps moved in, higher gore). Long ago, I added measurements for a plunge bikini in 70K with those alterations if it helps: 70K - Comexim » Kameleon Biustonosz (329).

BumbleBean I was told they had less immediate projection than the 3HCs do? I'm actually a little concerned that the 3HC doesn't have enough immediate projection, so I wouldn't want to get a bra with less.
I've been told that I should probably try 65M, actually.
-
The main problem with this fit is that the cup is too big, so I don't see what going to a 65M would accomplish. By all means try a 65, but in a smaller cup!

melifish I was told that this cup size looked about right on reddit and that the problem looked like center fullness. I'm not quite sure about that, but I'm trying a EM next anyway, so I have some time to think about it.

Center fullness isn't the issue, it's the cup volume. Good luck with the EM!

I actually have a bra in the plunge style from Wellfitting (which is made by Comexim) in 65L, and having just tried on one of Comexim's 3HCs, I can say that I think the plunge style actually had MORE immediate projection. I found that it was definitely enough, and I've never had a bra that didn't slide down before. (As an aside, I need a 70L half cup rather than the 65L plunge because I have so much fullness on top.) I think your shape might be better suited to the plunge. If you find that you need more center projection, you can always take in the gore a bit and request a narrowed gore for future orders from Comexim.

CaitlinRenee this is so nice to know! I was told that the 3HC had more immediate projection, but I will try the plunge ASAP.

helpfulIf the 70 band feels too loose, try the 65L

helpfulYou look like you have center projection/fullness, plus "too separate for my boobs" is marked. This is the exact issue I had with Comexim. I think it's just that Comexim doesn't accommodate for center full boobs, in my experience anyway. Ewa Michalak does though. They are the only one I've found to have the gore tack, the sides not come up too high, and enough projection in the center. Comexim pulls me out to the sides, and has plenty of side projection, if you can call it that. Maybe try Ewa Michalak if you haven't yet?

I marked it as too seperate because of the weird quadding/gapping, but a bra had never given me this issue before. My Cleo 30GG Lily and my 32GG Kayla fit pretty well and have never given me issues that would signify center fullness issues.
I've tried EM's HM Sekret Wiktorii in 65H. It fit almost perfectly, but it gave me some quadding and bounced a lot. I want to try a cup size up (or maybe just a larger band size). I'm told that most other EM's have less projection than that, so I haven't tried any other styles.
I've been told to try a 65M instead of a 65L, so I'm going to see how that goes. It was suggested that a narrowed gore might help, but I still have this one (Annika) so I tried to emulate it by pinching the bottom of the gore together and it didn't really change the issues much.

helpfulI will say the band with the Annika runs loose. You may need a 65 in other comexims and you may not. You probably will since you're on the tightest hook though. I guess check measurements first before ordering! My annika ran a good 2" bigger than most of my other 55 bands.

I tried checking, but the issue is that Bratabase copies measurements over styles, so it might not be accurate. It's why I ordered a 70 in the first place, so I'm probably going to try a 65.

It's annoying because I can't find any measurements for 70K/L on Bratabase. Any suggestion if I should try 65 or 70?
