Bra fitting help » Recs suggested seem wrong. This bra feels like it fits good.
Freya » Deco Delight Moulded Plunge Bra (1561) » 28G 28:9
This bra fits fine other than the band being loose. My question is why am I getting recommendations for this bra in sizes 28F to FF, and 30F to FF? My measurements have been updated today, along with adding this bra to my list of bras. I haven't been on in quite some time. Has the algorithm changed for recs? I can definitely say 30 would be far too loose, but I think that has something to do with my tight vs inhaled ribcage. 25.5-29.5". Comfortably snug is 26.5". And 28F would just be absurd. I can get away with 28FF in Freya Icon, it just barely cuts into the top of my breast tissue.
Overall, based on the pictures, would you guys say this fits good? I will say I am on a little bit of a smaller day right now, but the cups are still filled out enough that I couldn't do a cup smaller.

helpfulIf you just remeasured, it might take some time for the recs to respond to your size. I find that sometimes the recs are a bit broad in the suggested sizes, due to inconsistent brands and sizing. Ultimately, wear what you feel is comfortable and supportive, but fits all of the fitting criteria. I think that it’s cool to have recs, but they are certainly not totally perfect.

helpfulRecs have never been an exact science, so that sort of discrepancy isn't very surprising to me at all. I imagine that the formula behind the recs is based on how a given bra in a given size fits other users with measurements closest to yours, in addition to what has fit you in the past; but even the way a person's measurements are processed in order to be identified as "close to another person's" requires some approximation, plus there are other factors such as exact shape and distribution of boob tissue (i.e. you have a boob that is exactly 8.5" across both vertical, and lying down-horizontal, but you could find some other persson with the exact same boob and body measurements who might fit in none of your bras if she was disproportionately full on the inner half while you were side-heavy for example).
I'd say this bra looks pretty decent but if I were to find any fault with it I might ask you wanted to go up in cup, not down! The edge appears to be making an ever so slight indent on your tissue so if this is a small day, on a bigger day you might spill over.Updated on March 26, 2019 Flag this

helpfulETA: I should add that I own 12 other Freya Deco's in 28G and they all fit nearly the same = fully enclosed, slightly loose band, comfortable snug cup with no gapping nor spilling. The ones from the Charm and Spotlight range are the smallest. Delight and Vibe are about average. Fuse is slightly bigger.
(Freya Idol and Shape strapless are both in 28FF because the Idol is a higher cut, and the strapless I need the cups to fit extra tight so it'll stay on.)
Is it because I haven't added those other 12 here and this is going off of bras I used to wear 10 pounds and 5+ years ago?

helpfulHard to tell on molded bras, but, are the underwires well under the base of the breasts or slightly lower ?
I often see this case, bras worn too low.
When this happens, the lower portion in rather bent downwards instead of just "popping" in the cups. A false optical impression of good fit results.
You can tell on where the marks are right after taking it off. Even a 1/4" lower can make a huge difference.

Yes, it goes off the bras you said fit back then.
