Issue resolved
I'm keeping this bra as my best fit so far, but looking for a different style.
Original problem
Hi! This is my very first fit request, so let me know if you need more info.
I took a chance and ordered this online, as my first try to get a well fitting bra. It's pretty good, but I think I should have ordered a cup size lower. There is gapping on the top, and I have about a half an inch between the wire and my IMF on the bottom. I'm also not really sure about my shape, but I think I'm evenish to FoT. Overall, still the best fitting bra I've ever had....
Please help me out and give me recommendations so I can find the One!

helpfulI think you have a boob twin here because from the picture, I thought it was someone who posted a fair number of requests. But I could be wrong. i've got a wonky memory
The looseness on top probably means you are FOB. The wire in the wrong place either means not enough projection at the bottom (the bottom of the cup is shallow) or that the wires are too narrow for you.
interestingly, looking at other reviews, a lot of ppl find it hard to fit, but it seems generally FOB friendly but the lace sticks up too far for a lot of people
i feel like the person you remind me of had some success with some elomi, but I forget exactly

helpfulI don't think the wires are too narrow. If anything I think they're too wide. The gap between your IMF and wire doesn't look significant. I don't think you're vFOB, maybe a bit FOB but also maybe even with short roots. If you can still track down a Cleo Lily in your size, it may be a hit since it won't be so gappy on top, and should have just as much if not more immediate projection. I don't think this Fern is a bad fit, and I think it's the right cup volume. Just maybe a slight shape mismatch!

The short roots sounds right, the wires on this one feel about the right width, but just dip down too low in the center. I'm not getting and poking under the armpit, which is new for me! Do you have any suggestions for short rooted breasts?

I'd try the 38FF before concluding that it's a shape mismatch. When there is gapping above and wrinkling/space below, that often means it's just too big. I think there's a fair chance this shape could be good on you--you just need to figure out optimal size.

is it worth bending the wire to a better shape at the bottom? I think I tried that with my envy, with limited success. Also, is this one too tight too? You could try an extender - sometimes when the band is too tight the cups shape gets messed up

I don' t think that'll help because she already has more room than she needs in the cup... bending the wire will just make the cup fit deeper, opening even more unused space.

I think the wire width on this is about right, I bought an Elomi Caitlin 36 H Side support in the same batch and the wires seemed a little too wide on that one. and I also had trouble filling the cups in that one too. Hence the thought being that I need to go down a cup size. Do you have any suggestions for bras with better bottom projection?
