Issue resolved
My projected shape means i have to pay close attention to not only the relationship between cup depth (deep), width (narrow), and wire length, but also the bra's apex compared to my natural one.
Original problem
Seems like it "fits;" it's just uncomfortable. Gore to high smashed front view ( i like the shape from thw side view). I dont know if that's because ive never had a properly fitting bra before, or if it's the cut. If it IS the cut... Where do i go from here? Thanks...

helpfulThe bra looks a bit too shallow. The wire width looks right, and the gore width looks like it's probably ok. It might or might not be a cup size too small.

helpfulOk, so both suggestions thus far mention projection issues...
That was my guess... But im an amature at this after 20 yrs... Ha!Now that i can run with that theory, is "buying + trial-&-error + returning" pretty much the only way to determine projection?
Or is there some proportion i shud be looking for btween certain measurements?
Thanks so much!

helpfulThe wrinkling fabric at the bottom parts of the cups suggests to me that there isn't enough immediate projection in this bra. As for the gore floating, it might be that the cup volume is a tad too small for you, or it could be that the gore is too wide for you. Have you tried the Cleo Lucy? It might be a better fit for your FOB shape and the gore is shorter.

Projection can be sort of figured out, in most cases, by looking at the cup depth, width and sometimes wire length (which offers a helpful if not infallible hint as to the cup height in many cases). For the same depth, a greater width and/or cup height indicates a shallower bra, and vice versa. If your measurements are correct, this bra is a whopping 8'3" wide, which is well beyond average for a 13" cup, suggesting it is very shallow compared to other bras in this size range.
There are always other issues that can play a part though--this bra looks to present the same shape incompatibility that I get with almost all Panache Superbra, i.e. the bra's apex is too far off from your own natural apex (most projected part of the breast when supported, which doesn't necessarily coincide with the nipple). In this case the bra's apex is lower than your own, which may be causing the "smooshed upper boob" appearance and contributing to the failure to tack.
