Issue resolved
Thanks for your help.
I will go for a bra style which is more suitbable for short roots and FOB ladies.
And I will try shorter bands. Maybe a 32 is not as incredibly tight for me as I imagined
Original problem
Normally I wear a band size 34 but since Marcie is running tight I ordered a 36. I have to say, that I lost some weight since I bought this bra. So now it is really loose even on the tightest hook, as you can see in the pictures.
I have some decent quadraboob in this bra, but one cupsize bigger will result in wrinkling on top.
So I assume it has to be more of a shape issue than a size issue.
Please notice that the quadraboob in the pictures is not as awful as it really is, because the wide band masks the problem if I move.

helpfulDefinitely a shape issue. Marcie requires a shape that is either FOT, tall rooted, or both. Your shape appears to be short rooted.

helpfulI see no quadboob whatsoever, but I do see acres of empty space under the boobs... This design is probably too shallow for you, but you definitely don't need an 11+ inch depth cup.

I agree with the others!

So I would need more immediate projection in a bra?
Maybe the quadboob I noticed is more of a weird shape I get where the bra ends? Because my breasts want to stick out of my body almost at a right angle and Marcie expects a taller root?
c= vs ( in profile?
If I swoop and scoop, there is some bulging even noticable under not-so-tight shirts, but the wires sit below my IMF.
If I pull the bra up, the bulging gets less but the bra won't stay like this. -
The marcie is definitely not suitable for extra-projected breasts.

helpfulJust as a small note: "Marcie runs tight" is outdated information by now.
Different colorways of the Marcie vary vastly in stretchiness! The newer ones, in especially the beige and raspberry color run considerably looser than the older colorways, or the black one for example.
So, to complicate things: Stretchiness depends on the colorway.Updated on March 12, 2016 Flag this

helpfulLooking at this one vrs your other one... I'm wondering why you picked a 34? Remember, 80% of the bra support comes from your band, so that needs to be snug. try a 32, or even a 30 perhaps. If your comfortable rib cadge is 32, basically, you need either a stretchy 30 or a firm 32.

I bought this bra about 6 months ago, when I started searching for fitted bras. I lost some weight over this time and now I shrink out of my bands. As far as I recall, I measured about 34 comfortably last september.
Thanks for your suggestion. Maybe I am a bit afraid of buying tighter bands, since it sounds so small compared with what I wore before -
I totally get where that hesitancy comes from. Specifically if you have had bands that rub and leave marks in the past. How ever I'll let you in on something I found out with in the last two days. I bought a couple new bras and put an extender on one of them that was quite snug wearing it with out. With the extender it felt comphy and lose, how ever by the end of the day my skin was all marked up and raw where the wires were up against my body. Today I took the extender back out. Its snug... but it didn't move. And no red marks. Tight is good specifically the bigger your breasts are.

I agree with wendybien ... the cup seems way too shallow at the bottom for you. I also don't seen any quadboob. You've got lots of uncovered tissue at the top, but its not spilling out at all - its just not covered.
