Bra fitting help » Wrong style or too small?

Issue resolved
This bra doesn't work in my size range.
Original problem
I got this in a 28D after reading somewhere the cups run big. As you can see I'm quading a lot. The sheer part is wrinkled though, so I feel like it's too small and a touch too projected maybe. I don't have much top projection and I think I have soft tissue. Still looking for a bra that fits. I've been recommended the cleo Lucy. Do you think plunge styles will work for me? Shallow and wide do not fit. I need something with narrow wires, that doesn't expect upper fullness, and has enough projection for my fob boobs with average or slightly above projection.
Do you think this will fit in a larger cup, or should I look to a different style. Thank you. I'm narrowing in more on what I need, but no fit yet.

helpfulThis is a perfect example of a "closed on top" bra. This type of cut works for almost no one in our size range. The top of the cup cuts into the breast while the center of the cup is unfilled and wrinkled. My experience with the Cleo Zia Balconnet (6851) was similar. It generally does not help to go up or down a size.
The Freya Jolie Plunge Balcony (4101) is an unlined plunge that works better for me. It's still a little bit closed on top, but not nearly as much. Unfortunately that bra has been discontinued but it looks like someone on here has a 28DD for sale that might fit you! I think I remember seeing a review of the Freya Daydreamer Balcony Bra (1761) in 28D and it was similarly successful.
Oh, and definitely try the Cleo Lucy Balconnet Bra (5851). I love that bra. Try a 28DD and 28E.

helpfulI definitely think this bra doesn't have enough projection for you, and is too closed up top because of the ribbon. If you sized up I would expect it to be loose or perhaps too wide. I would suggest you look for something that doesn't have a seam/ribbon at the cup edge. Have you tried Cleo Marcie Balconnet Bra (6831) or any of its sister cuts?
Since you mention needing narrow and projection, I have to suggest you try Polish bras if you haven't yet! I think Comexim plunges or Ewa's 3D/3DM styles might work great for you!

Cleo lucy and marcie are on my wishlist. Someone is selling a marcie here in my size, I'm waiting to hear back from them.
Comexim I think makes my band size as well. I will definitely look into those styles in polish bras, thanks :)

Ah. Thank you for explaining that! This one is going back and I already picked up a freya crush plunge. I wanted the longline, but that one wasn't available.
I looked at the cup depth of the lucy and I think I'll start with the 28E.
Also, I saw on abrathatfits, that you measure fullness when your breasts are supported. So that would make me even. Unsupported I'm fob. So does that mean I'm even, and not fob like I thought?
I had been eyeing the daydreamer. It looks similar to the tartan I have, so I guess would try it in a 28D.
I saw that the cleo lily was good for even fullness.
With the jolie, the seller who has it listed says the band is loose and fits more like a 30. I'm a 26, so 28 is already one size too large, but it's the best I can do for now. Shame because it looks like the cups would fit nicely. Maybe it's worth a shot anyway, I do sew a little and can alter the band.
