Issue resolved
concerned about wrinkling in sides of cups under arms. I need to look for narrower wires and shorter wires
Original problem
I'm still trying to find a bra that really fits and so far this one comes closest. The band is quite tight. But ,there still are issues with cup wrinkling under the arm. This wrinkling is there with an extender as well as without. This wrinkling is occurring in every bra I've tried.
I have pictures of Panache Envy posted that shows this wrinkling too. Background:
I asked for help with a 28FF Rio and the suggestions were that I needed a larger cup, one with more immediate projection and narrow wires and narrow gore. Cleo Marcie was suggested. The Marcie in the 28GG was too big and the wire on the right (my smaller breast is the right one)twisted on to the wire on the left.Today, I got the 28G in Marcie and it is too small . I have major overflow . It does appear though that perhaps there is less cup wrinkling on the side although because it is black, it is a little harder to see .

helpfulLooks to me like the cup is a bit to wide. It's not that the band is pulling its that the cup is holding the side of your body past where the breast tissue ends to fill the cup out. Maybe look for not a smaller cup, but one thats 5.3 to 5.0 wide. bring the tip of the wire a little further forward on your body. My breasts are close together as well, I look for cup separation that is less then an inch if I can find it, and narrower cups because most of my tissue is on the front part of my body, with very little extension under my arms.

Primula There are some North American retailers who sell them, zathiya.com, braobsessed.com, sophisticatedpair.com. At those you will be able to return more easily. :)

You may also find a 30G fits in a bra with very little stretch, because looking closely it looks like you have some puckering on the lower part of the front of the cup as well. Though I think that is still mostly because your boobs are more or less being pulled sideways under your arms.
-
I ordered this bra in a 30G last night to see if it will stop the wrinkling. I did try it with an inch extension though and it didn't stop the wrinkling. This band seems to be tighter than most 28s I've tried
I really think you probably hit on it with I need a narrower gore and cups.
My other issue is that many bras seem comfortable until I sit down. Then it seems I droop and press on the wires in front. I'm very short waisted. Thank you for your input.

I am also very short in the waist (and everywhere :P) and i have the same problem, bra is comfortable standing up but sitting down for a while, the bottom of the wires get painful. The bra is probably slipping out of your IMF--we have a tendency to be very projected, the short and larger busted, because we have a lot of boob over a small area and the place it has to go is out. :)
-
So, I should look at what Bras fit you:) I am short too. I'm not even 5'1"
Thanks for letting me know I'm not the only one this happens to. I thought if I got the right fit, it wouldn't happen. -
The ONLY bras that don't do that to me are Polish. I highly recommend you try.

helpfulJust want to say that a little wrinkling under the arm would not be an issue for me in general. If it looks good under a shirt and feels comfortable, thats what matters the most. The bra looks low to me, but if the wire is right at the base of your breast tissue, its probably just me

I'm not sure I've ever had a bra that stays at the base of my breast. They might start there, but they all tend to ride down a little especially when I sit down. It is very uncomfortable because I'm very short waisted. That is what is prompting me to try and figure this out. I now realize that this may be because I don't have enough immediate projection in the bra. But, the Marcie which has good immediate projection didn't work in 28GG or 28G, one too big and the other too small. Maybe the cup is too wide??

helpfulIn my experience Kali runs tight in the band, and you mentioned it's snug. That could be pulling the bra away from your IMF. I also think it's too wide.

helpfulI agree the cup is technically wider than you need (even much wider) but the reason the side of the cup can't sit flat is that the wing is hitting the flesh of your underarm when your arm is down in a natural position. So basically the wing is being pushed down a little. The fact that you are so tiny in frame and short-waisted means you will prefer bras with lower side wings and shorter wires. This has a 12" long wire for an 11" deep cup, so that's a lot of wire for a petite lady!

Thanks. It seems that so many of the bras that are supportive enough to keep my very heavy dense boobs up do have long wires.

You know, other than that wrinkling I think this bra
Looks great on you. I am jealous! I loved this bra and wanted it to fit SO bad but my fob boobs just left sad gapping and wrinkles in all that pretty lace at the top. If the wrinkling is not uncomfortable and doesn't show under clothes, maybe it's something that can be lived with. Only you can say :-) -
You're right, that is definitely the norm for more supportive cup designs. It's not universal though--if you search for models where the wire length is the same or less than the depth of the cup, I think that will be much more comfortable for you. Also, some full cup designs have a tallish gore and centered straps but thanks to those features, they don't need to rely on super tall wings for stability.

SC2401 I probably will keep this and wear with an extender initially .It is the best so far. I love the color, the price was right:):) and I'm desperate for new bras.
I'll also keep searching for the perfectly fitting one. :):)Thanks Wendybien for that formual about depth to wire length. Often the tall gore is a problem for me because I have touching boobs. That is one thing I liked about this one . The gore is a little shorter.
Thanks everyone.

Thanks
Those narrower than this in a 28 band are not plentiful. someone mentioned the Polish ones, but i'm hesitant to order because I think they would be hard to return. Watching here for listings.
