Issue resolved
Bent the top of the gore away from my sternum
Original problem
This is my first bra in my new size. I am just looking for advice on the fit.

helpfulThis bra looks like a very good fit on you. The wires look like they are the right width, and the cups look full with no "quading". If the gore is the only problem, can you bend the tops of the wires away from your sternum a little? Would this solve your problem?

helpfulJasmine does the same on me, due to being close-set - which you seem to be as well.
This makes it difficult to comfortably fit into bras with a higher gore (balconette, full cup etc.).Bending out the gore can certainly help. For Panache's firm wires, you'll probably need a plier to permanently bend them.
But in general, a lower gore will probably be more comfortable for you (mostly found in plunge bras). Or a high-ish gore that is very narrow (some styles in Flirtelle, for example 30HH - Flirtelle » Ellie Padded Bra (FL6411) works for me)

helpfulIn the future, you can look for bras with lower or narrower gores by comparing its measurements to bras here. For this bra, this is an easy fix as others have mentioned, just bend the gore outward at the top.

helpfulPanache is known for having very hard, inflexible wires. So it may just be an issue of this being the wrong brand for someone with a sensitive ribcage. If 34E is indeed the best size for you, you're fortunate that this is one of the easiest sizes to find in almost any brand that ventures even a tiny bit into the "full bust" cup ranges, so perhaps other brands might merit exploration.
On the other hand, sometimes other factors make the gore painful, including height, a band that is too snug or too loose, a rib flare just in the wrong place, or cups being a little too deep (so the boobs don't "push back" enough against the cups).
The fit appears good visually but that is only part of the equation. If you are very uncomfortable, that usually indicates you can get a better fit elsewhere.
I do not see your measurements here--if you share those and the bra's measurements then we may have more ideas of where to go next, be it a different size in the same bra or a different bra with different features to ensure better comfort.
