Issue resolved
Sized down, now I have the perfect fit!
Original problem
I love this bra, it's definitely the best fitting bra that I've owned. However, the straps are a little far out and they cut into my underarm by the end of the day. Do you think it's possible to remove the straps and move them in a bit, or that would affect the fit of the bra?
I'd also love some general recommendations for other bras to try! I'm just figuring out that bras come in smaller band sizes than 32 (been in 32 A/B at VS for years).
I've tried on 28D/DD 30 C/D in several Freya styles and none of them seem to fit me!

helpfulWow you got a really beautiful fit in this bra! Good job newbie
I have the same problem with Cleo straps (and Freya straps, and Fantasie, and...) despite being a much chunkier person than you. I agree it is very disagreeable so it's not a bad idea to want to try and fix it.People actually do sometimes alter bras to move the straps. It changes the fit a little but not usually enough to cause major problems. There are tutorials you can look up. Some have been linked on Bratabase, though it might be easier to find them via google (search "Bratabase strap alteration" or "bratabase move straps"). You can also search with the keywords "move straps" and "Ewa Michalak," not that that has anything to do with your bra here, but a couple years ago a LOT of people were blogging about the wideset straps on that brand's bras and they made some posts about the alterations they attempted to move the straps closer together.

helpfulThe demi shape of this bra looks quite similar to Passionata demis. They don't make a 28, but I have heard they run small in band and they do make a 30. I had a similar experience with straps being too wide on Maddie and I found Chantelle demi straps much better (they own Passionata). Best of luck!

helpfulLooks like the cups are too big. I have a bra with the same issue, it fits comfortably when I first put it on, and I have a really nice line under my shirts, but by the end of the day I can't wait to take it off. The cup on mine is 16.5 and my breast when I measure are around 14.5 so it's fully 2 inches to big. As this is a molded bra, it's incredibly hard to tell the fit from just looking at it, and I'm basing my info off your measurements.

Thanks! I just ordered a 28D in the same bra, I'll see if it fits better!

28D is here, unfortunately the cups were too small and the straps had the same problem!

Hmm, I wonder if it is the shape then? Another thing about a molded bra is that it isn't as flexible so if the cups come in on the top and they aren't the right shape for your breasts there is very little give. another option would be something like this with the larger cuped bra, http://www.amazon.com/Fashion-First-Aid-Womens-Racerback/dp/B00519BED2/ref=sr_1_6?s=apparel&ie=UTF8&qid=1456720674&sr=1-6&nodeID=7141123011&keywords=racerback+bra+hooks

I kept second guessing myself and wore it for an hour instead of just trying it on. It seems like it does fit better! It seems too small when I first put it on, but after a little while my boobs sort of settle into the bra and it fits better. I'm going to snip the tags and wear it for a day and see how it goes :)

Sweet! well I wish you the best of luck, and always remember everyone on here will give advice based on their own feel in fit, and I like my cups more on the snug side then the lose side.

You were so right! I wore the 28D all day today and it was a million times better!

Thank you so much for the info! I will definitely look into the tutorials, try them out, and respond here if I am successful ;)
I'm just a little sad to try to alter the best bra I've ever worn haha!
