Bra fitting help » Cups were great two nights ago, loose in the top this morning. Band too tight.

Issue resolved
It's simply a shape issue; same problems in both sizes.
Original problem
These photos are from 2 nights ago. Cups were a perfect fit but band was too tight. Tried the bra on again this morning, and I'm not filling out the tops of the cups the same way I was before (scooping and swooping both times). Have a 32E coming in tomorrow's mail but I'm wondering if there is a shape issue, not just a size issue, I'm not picking up on.

helpfulThis is most likely a shape issue. It seems that you need a narrow wired bra made for FOB shapes, with a Ooh La La, (cup width 5.1", cup separation 0.8), Freya Arabella (Cup width 5.4, Cup separation 0.9), and the Freya Siren (Cup width 5.3, Cup separation 0.9). All are made for FOB types.
It also probably wouldn't hurt to try this bra in 1 cup volume smaller. Try it in 32DD and see how it goes.

billagirly I meant to say the Freya Ooh La La.

Saskia_C why would she try 30E when this is already too tight?

helpfulDefinitely looks like the wires are topside. Cleo bands run snug so I would expect a 32 to be more comfortable for u given your measurements.

Dvrgrl812 Thanks, I'm wanting to do a detailed compare/contrast review tomorrow or over the weekend once my 32E comes in.

helpfulit's really a size issue. these cups are too big in all directions -- projection, armpits, and top (it's not supposed to be this full coverage a bra). The too-tight band is helping mask the bigness of the cups, so i'm guessing 32E will look even worse. I'd try it in 32DD.

helpfulDid you by any chance just get or end your period? I vary by a full cup size, being bigger for the week or two before I bleed, and smallest just at the end of my period.

dbmamaz - I don't have a period, I got an IUD about a year and a half ago, but I'm wondering if my body still goes through some of those changes each month??
-
hard to know. i assume its a hormonal IUD if you dont cycle?
-
dbmamaz Yes, it's the Mirena.
-
I also have that IUD, and I've noticed that I still get bloated and weight gain once a month as if I have a period.

helpfulI agree with the couple of people who said cups are too big and band is too small. How ever, I'm wondering if a sister size would fit perfectly, because going off your breast measurements the cup should fit. Before you start totally resizing, maybe try the sistersize of the 30F, it may very well just be a shape issue.

Saskia_C - thank you! Quick question. You mentioned the Arabella twice, but with different measurements. How do I know which is which when buying?
