Bra fitting help » Cup too small or underwire too short?

Issue resolved
Band was too small and was distorting the wires, so I've ordered a 32FF and 32G to try. Thank you to everyone for their help!
Original problem
Originally tried a 32G (my standard size in most padded/moulded bras, don't own many unpadded bras) but found it too big in the back and cup, so this is a 30G, but I get quite a lot of overspill at the sides, under the arm, and a bit over the top of the cup, but can't tell if it's because the wires are too short at the sides, whether I need a bigger cup or whether the bra is just the wrong shape/style for me? Thanks for any help available!

helpfulBand is too tight and distorting the wires - your measurements look more like a 32 or 34 band. Try adding an extender and see if it fits better.
Adorable bra!

helpfulI also think it's the band. Remember up in the band down in the cup--so the equivalent cup size will be a 32FF.

helpfulDo try in a 32FF, but try more half cups as well - while the band is too tight and it's distorting the fit, you look like you may be a little fuller on top. If Bravissimo is convenient, try the Freya Kiyoko in perhaps a 32G as well - the shape may work for you a bit better.

Thank you, I've ordered both a 32FF and a 32G just in case. I've always thought of myself as more full on bottom, but that might be because my breasts start quite high up, near my collarbone, and are a bit shallow. I'll have to investigate more Freya styles because I've not tried any except the Deco! I only own one half cup at the moment, in a 32G, but it gives a lovely shape, I don't know why I didn't try them sooner.

I was convinced that I was full on the bottom as well because I don't look like any of the standing diagrams in Bras I Hate's post on the topic, and because I often seemed to have too much room in the top of the cup. When I tried the lean test (also in that post), I realized I do have a little more upper than lower fullness. Because I was trying bras designed for lower fullness, I think I was settling too deeply into the cups, making the top seem too loose, when in reality, it just wasn't an ideal shape.
Good luck!

helpfulHi there, I have to agree with everyone else here that the band looks way to tight for you and this is distorting the wires. I would go up a band size and down a cup size. Hopefully this will work for you as the shape looks fairly good for you.
It is a lovely bra, i love the detailingUpdated on April 3, 2016 Flag this

I never thought that the band could be the problem, but now you mention it I think you might be right! Thank you!
