Bra fitting help » Bra band is too big but the cups fit? Help!
Panache » Clara Full Cup Bra (7255) » 32FF 32:8
Issue resolved
i will get the bra band tailored so that it fits properly
Original problem
This bra looks very good on and surprisingly fits really well, with the exception of the band size being too big. It is shocking that the bra fits this well since my bra size is only a 30F while this bra size is a 32FF. Does the bra fit well? Or am I fooling myself because I had gotten the bra for such a affordable price.
Edit: I don't know if this is relevant at all but for some unknown reason. I can't get cleavage! I can push my boobs up to my neck and they would look like blobs of skin on my chest without the nice rounded look people get

helpfulI see that the comfortable ribcage measurement for you is only 27.6" and this is a 32 band bra, so I definitely recommend trying the sister size 30G to see if you like it better.

helpfulYou sound like me. I get bras in "close enough" sizes when I see a good deal. Maybe a 30FF? That size doesn't happen to be on sale does it? If you have a way of shortening the straps maybe. How handy are you with a sewing machine. I'm knew to this so I don't want to give you horrible advice. There are some great advice givers on here though. Good luck!

helpfulIt does look good at first glance but if you observe more closely you will see big wrinkles and empty space at the bottom of the cups. This bra is made with very firm, heavier fabric that can provide support and a decent appearance even when the cup volume is genuinely too big, as I believe it truly is here (in addition to the empty space at the bottom, if you compare to photos of other users wearing the bra in the right size for them, you will see it fits you with much more coverage than the designer intended). However, if you have a very round breast shape it's quite possible this would NOT fit you well in the correct size, so if you just love it because it is pretty and was cheap, maybe you'd want to keep it in this size anyway!
Does the back ride up? 24.5" is very very short for an unstretched 32 band. It may just run very small for some unknown reason, thus being close-ish to the band size you actually need.
