Issue resolved
Shape miss match
Original problem
My first comexim just arrived!. The only alteration I got was to move the straps in. They could be moved in more, or maybe they forgot to move them in. It seems like this bra is too wide and shallow for me ( I could be wrong). The wires extend out more than my breast tissue on the sides. I gently bent the wires and that does help a little, but that can only ever help for minor adjustments.
I don't know where to go from here. I think I saw that you can request narrow wires from them. Do I need this same size but with narrow wires? Do I need to go up in cup size? Do I need both? Would a 3HC style work better than a plunge?
The wide wires don't bother me, I'm just wondering if that would solve the quading issue.

helpfulPer the measurements, as well as the photos, it's just plain too small. This may be a good cup size for you in some other Comexim models but I've heard the Basic runs small.

Wellll you would probably be better off asking someone with more Comexim experience... But at first glance looking at the measurements I'd say you might be OK with a 55HH, but might end up being sort of between HH and J? Since it's not a perfect shape match for you, you may end up having to size up to a cup volume that is larger than your actual breast volume since the cups are wider than you need and there's some side space that won't be used. I don't know though--I'd take a look at other Basic reviews and photos before ordering!

helpfulIt looks like it's only quadding on one side, is that right? You could go up a cup size and ask for pockets for inserts so you could put an insert in the smaller side. As for changing the wire width, you can always drop them an email and ask if they will do it and how it will affect the depth of the cup.

It quads on both sides. In my parfait plunge the larger breast fits and the smaller doesn't gap or anything, so I think they are close enough to not need a pocket, but just barely. would a better pic help?

Nah, I figure you could probably just go up a cup size then.

Cool, Thank you :)

Just a little slightly unrelated note about pockets: the fabric they use for them is much softer than the regular fabric used on the cups so I'm a fan of getting pockets added to all my bras (even though I basically never use them)!

That's a good idea. The inside of this bra isn't as soft as I would have hoped.

helpfulThis goes to show how bad selfies can be. To me it looks like it's just too closed on top of a style for you. I can't even see quadding in the front view. When you extend your arms forward it creates more space, so it "erase" some of the quadding you see with it on. I see cutting in on the side, but I get that with even too big of bras. Definitely try a size up, the 3HC is supposed to be more open, so you may like that. I had major quadding in the 55HH and only mild in the J, so I'm trying the J in a 3HC. You know what you're comfortable in. I have a plunge in 55HH and J if any of the dimensions will help you? I also custom ordered two 55Js in 3HC. If your not crunched for time, I can send you those when I get them (if you can't find any on here).

That makes sense. It was hard to get a picture of the quadding at its worst, which is when I stand up straight with arms down.
I have a CK ritzy that I really like for being open. I will be getting some 3HCs with my next order :)
According to what I found the 55HH was 8.2in cup diameter and the J is 9. I can't see myself fitting into a 9. I think the HH would be the way to go.
Measurements for the 55HH you have would help, thanks :)Do you think reducing the cups a little bit might make a plunge more likely to cut in?

What size would you recommend? Would one cup size up be enough?
