Bra fitting help » Wrinkles at bottom, flattened top?

Issue resolved
Wrong size and shape for me, need to look for bras with bigger bands and looser top sections
Original problem
I know the band is too small, but is that the reason for the problems with the cups? They wrinkle at the bottom, as though the weight of my breasts is pushing them down, but the top lace section digs in to give quadboob and flattens the top of my breasts to give a weird horizontal shape. I've also got this bra in a 32G but the same problems occur so maybe it's a shape issue rather than size?

helpfulThe slight wrinkling at the bottom parts of the cups is most likely caused by lack of immediate projection of the bra. You would get a better fit in a bra that has a bit more immediate projection.
As for the top parts of the cups, they are cutting into your flesh. This means that either you have tall roots, or an FOT shape, or both.
As for the band, maybe 32FF is a better size for you to try in the future. I saw that you listed the Cleo Marcie in 32FF as a bra that fits, so maybe try other bras that cater to the same shape as the Cleo Marcie does.

helpfulIt would be more helpful if you showed pics with an extender. My gut feeling is that yes, the other issues here are caused by the overly tight band -- it is pulling the top cup too tightly too your chest, causing it to dig in on top. It may ALSO be the wrong shape, but it is impossible to tell like this.
Those wrinkles at the bottom are usually caused by overly large cups, that's why you still have them on the 32G, because that's for sure a too-big cup on you. But I can't tell whether these cups are too big without the extender. However, wrinkles at the bottom cup *in the absence of* other fit issues shouldn't worry you -- it's not really a fit problem in itself, just an indicator that something might be off.
If you don't have an extender yet, i'd actually say maybe go for the kind with elastic on it. I usually prefer the kind without elastic, but I don't think that will give you enough room.

Thanks, I have yet to buy an extender but I think I should move it to the top of my to do list!
Edit: Just ordered both styles of extender so I'll see if that makes a difference, though I have a feeling it's also partly the shape of the bra that's the problem so the extender might not do much. Thank you for your help

helpfulThe band is definitely too small. try an extender and see if maybe it wrinkles less at teh bottom - that could be due to the wires being stretched out. But the top shape does seem wrong for you but i cant figure out exactly why

I was thinking maybe the lace section could be too tight? When trying both sizes on I noticed that the whole cup didn't seem to stretch very well, particularly the top section, making it hard to scoop and swoop properly.

As for the top of the bra not fitting right, it might be that the cup shape or style isn't quite right for you. Without seeing it, it's hard to say exactly why. It could help to try different bra styles or get a fitting from a bra specialist to find a better fit. For further Info visit Site: https://pinkstraps.com

Thank you. Just to make sure I understand, when you say there's not enough immediate projection do you mean that the cup isn't deep enough at the bottom wire?
I think I do have quite tall roots because I notice in some bras that it looks like my breasts start up near my collarbone!
I do like the Cleo Marcie after wearing it a few times and after researching some other Cleo styles I really like what they have to offer, I'll have to invest in some more of their bras!
