La Senza » Scandalous Lace Push Up Plunge Bra (11046171) » 32D 32:4
Issue resolved
More narrow bra, less gore width, buy a smaller band size instead of altering a large band as it is still too wide.
Original problem
What am I doing wrong? Feel like I am spilling out in the middle and my nipple is almost showing! But I am gaping at the top of the cup. The cups don't cling to my bust and sort of stick out a bit at the sides. But my wide, splayed boobs actually feel centered which I like. The underwire is comfortable which I like. The shape makes me look really full amd round like unnaturally full for me. It makes me feel self conscious. When I sit sometimes I get quad boob in the middle. 32C doesn't fit amd there is no 32DD in this model that I could find. I did shorten the band and alter it a bit.

helpfulThat bra is too wide for you. A lot of bras are really wide - like the cups are wider than your breasts and also too far apart for your breasts. Reminds me of when I realized I could not wear front-closure bras because the closure took up too much space - that cute keyhole bit makes the whole thing too wide.
I look at what I can find cheap (amazon for me, but you will find things in your size on ebay), and then come here and look at pictures of my size in that bra and read the comments to get an idea of if it will fit or not.

helpfulThis bra is too small going off the measurements. But like I commented on your other fit check, its a lot harder to tell on a lined bra then with an unlined one.
Have you found the reddit groups? They have one there that offers bras for trade, worn but still functional bras so you can try sizes.
Might do you well to look at a 28E

Thank you so much!! This is very helpful!! After wearing 34a/bs for so long, i thought it fit in the store and bought 4! It was at an outlet so no refund or return!! I will exchange them there as they haven't been worn much! Thank you!!

Yep I hope it helps. Lined bras are hard to fit because even if the size is right, the shape can be woefully wrong, and because the cups don't really flex or shift around to accommodate your breast you can end up quite confused by them.
Take a look at amazon, most of their stuff offers free returns so you can try things post photos up here get some feed back and sent them back for free.

Awesome! I ordered the Parfait by Affinitas Charlotte Padded Push Up bra (28F) from Amazon a few days ago and it should arrive tomorrow. Good to know about the return policy! Thank you!

helpfulThis is what I call a boob hat--it's just sitting on top of your breasts, not really fitting and supporting them. Again I recommend seamed bras--they'll fit you a lot better than these molded ones!
