Issue resolved
Bra was wrong shape
Original problem
I'm really struggling to find anything that fits. Almost every bra I try on has this wrinkling in the top half of the cup. And feels so wide on my chest that it digs in
If I size down in the cup I lose the wrinkling but get spillage and than the wire sits on the tissue under my armpit.

helpfulIf you get wrinkling at the top its probably that you are full-on-bottom. Some of the cleo bras are good for full-on-bottom, but i always forget which, because I'm FOT and have sized out of cleo

helpfulI think you need to size down in the cup AND the band. You just don't have the volume to fill out this cup size, but additionally the band is not snug enough to give you what's called "wire spring" -- the pulling of the wire gently apart and flush to your body. If the wire isn't pulled to the side a little, then yeah, it will sit on tissue.
You look like you could use some Natori Feathers! Starting with size 32DD perhaps?

helpfulI agree with dbmamaz, you need a bra that is more closed on top. As for Cleo bras, I think the Meg is suited to FOB breasts.
However, if you find a bra you like and it fits great apart from the gaping lace, you can always take it in at the gore or near the straps, as suggested in another fit request. It's quite easy to do even if you're not good at sewing and it's not noticeable at all!
As for the bra feeling wide on your chest, I don't really know what could be causing that. Perhaps you need narrower underwires, but I'm not an expert on that, so I hope someone else can help you!Updated on July 6, 2016 Flag this

helpfulI agree, it seems like you need a bra that is more closed on top with more immediate projection. I am also FOB and have a similar issue with wrinkling cups.
Cleo Lucy is meant for FOB breasts, though it didn't work out for me because I am very shallow on top and a touch too broad-rooted for it. If you can find it with free returns (like on Amazon for example), it may be worth trying out.
Freya Jolie Plunge worked out better for me than Lucy (and comes up lower on the sides), but that is discontinued so I don't know how easily you could track one down.
Panache Andorra Plunge might actually work out very well for you, because the upper lace is stretchy, so it lays much flatter than most unlined bras do for me.
I'm not sure if trying a smaller band size would be comfortable for you, given your measurements. Does this stay put on the loosest hooks?

Kali/Lucy (same cut) is usually recommended for FoB
