Bra fitting help » 30H CK Jewel gives quadding. Projection issue or top too closed?

Issue resolved
Since the wires were too wide and the cups too small, I sold the bra and looked into purchasing something else. I may try a larger cup size in CK in the future.
Original problem
Wires: Too wide. Seem the right height. Minor pain after short term wear.
Gore: Flat but does not tack. Maybe slightly too wide, not painful. Height seems fine.
Cups: Not seeing wrinkling. Gaping where the straps meet the band and between my IF and the underwires. I adjusted it into the IF seconds ago and can feel it slipping as I write this.
Straps/Band: Straps are too wide, but completely adjustable. Band appears parallel to floor.
Comfort: Underwire causes minor pressure pain after short term wear.
My best fitting bra is a Cleo Lily 30GG, which only slips down a little. If I compare them, the issue is clearly projection. The Cleo Lily gapes at the top due to my short roots. This girl quads in a size larger.
I would appreciate recommendations, for this brand and for other bras. Should I try a 30HH, look for a slightly more open on top style (my CK Madagascar in 30GG quads too) or just give up on Curvy Kate completely?
I'm getting a Freya Gem, Panache Sports, and Freya Ooh La La in 30GG, so we'll see how that goes.

helpfulThis looks like it is just an iffy match for your anatomy in a whole bunch of different ways.
* Wires are so crazy wide when worn (though oddly not in your unworn measurement?!) that they become almost useless wrt their primary purpose which is to brace against the ribcage so the cup can better support the weight of the breast, The end of the wire is out in East Bicycle, as my mother used to say, and wraps so far round your ribcage that the U of the underwire has no hope of doing its job. I think this may also be why the gore is sort of tipping away from your body (and not tacking) and the bottom curve of the U is digging into your body.
* Straps are also way out in the armpit zone so that you have to angle them in to stay on. In turn, this opens up more looseness in the upper portion of the bra cup so you actually LOSE surface tension and support even though by the numbers this cup depth is arguably too small.Updated on July 13, 2016 Flag this

helpfulI'd hazard a guess the band is too tight, causing distorting of the wires as you wear it and making the bottom of the cup shallower than normal. It also looks too small. If you love the bra, it might be worth re trying in a 32H.

Definitely a sign the cups are too small then & the wires are being distorted. I'd even try this same bra a cup size up & see if it helps.

helpfulIt seems to me that you need a bit more immediate projection in a bra, which makes this a shape mismatch. If the cup were deeper at the bottom, you likely wouldn't need it to be any more open at the top (because your breasts could settle a bit lower into the cup). The wires sliding down below your IMF are a clue that the bottom is too shallow (which I'm currently learning the hard way myself), and I can see it most clearly in photo #2. Your breasts are moving the bra down so they can find room in the apex, because there isn't enough space at the bottom for them to fit comfortably. I would guess that sizing up would not work out, since the wires seem to be too wide already.

That was my thought, more a projection problem than a size problem. As I get used to the Cleo Lily it becomes more apparent that most of my "size" problems recently are projection problems.

If tried on backwards and upside down so the cups are out of the equation, it fits fine. The moment the cups come into play it's way to small though.
