Bra fitting help » wires below IMF, top wrinkling
Cleo » Kayla Balconnet Bra (9221) » 32FF 32:8
Issue resolved
Didn't fit. Too much inner fullness and immediate projection.
Original problem
Easiest to notice is the wrinkling and the torpedo affect when looking down from above. I kind of suspect this has something to do with my FOB, tissue fluidity and inner fullness; this bra kind of let my tissue do whatever it wanted, so it all pooled to the center (maybe due to the stretch lace?)
The wires felt a little diggy but they didn't feel high. I always thought I was narrow-rooted but after seeing this one on me, I'm wondering if I'm wider than I thought.
You can see the outline of where the bottom of the wire sat on me...a full finger-length below my IMF. Usually, my immediate projection causes bras to slowly fall out of my IMF. But with the Kayla, they stayed firmly in place..just the wrong place. It seems a classic U-shaped wire to a sideways ) -shaped boob. The wire shape was perfect in the center and not even that bad on the sides despite minor poking.

helpfulI think it is quite a bit too deep/large, only the stretch lace is quite forgiving so it's not as obvious as it would be in a different bra. Not sure sizing down would work with your shape, but if you have a chance it might be worth a try.
The wires do that on me in many bras--I am between sizes in a lot of the ones I wear and the looser overall fit of a slightly too-large cup allows the wire to wander a bit.

helpfulBesides the cup being probably too big, it looks like the wires of Cleo bras are too U-shaped for you.
You could try Freya's unpadded "balconette plunge" bras such as the Freya Ooh La La Plunge Balcony Bra (1481) and its sister cuts. They work great for close set-boobs. Also, this cut usually has lots of immediate projection, but the wires don't come up as high at the side wings.
In the smaller sizes (below F) they are narrower than Cleo bras. I don't think that's going to be much of an issue in your size range, but pay double attention to wire width when you try them on.Updated on July 16, 2016 Flag this

helpfulI had the same problems with cleo. Now I prefer charnos. They seem to ne made for wide rooted shapes. I used to fix/ajust narrow wires manually until they at least had the right width. But I would not buy new cleos any more. Check out charnos 'carmen'. No gapping and wide cups.
