Bra fitting help » Gapping, enough to go down a cup?

Issue resolved
Gapping mostly solved by adding cookies and scooping & swooping more. Now it doesn't show under t shirts at all, and I'll probably keep it.
Original problem
I ordered this as a 3HC in 75J, because I own a 75HH Beauty (also a 3HC), which is nearly perfect, but it quads just a tiny bit.
I love this cut, but I don't like even a tiny bit of quadding, as it shows under clothes, so I decided to order another one, one cup size bigger.
A little gapping was therefore to be expected, but it gaps more than I anticipated. When I stand, it's already noticeable, but when I sit it gets really bad. I'm not sure if it's just the bigger cup size that causes the gapping, or if this model is just a bit more open on top?
What do you think, will going down a cup size give me the same result as in the Beauty (tiny bit of quadding)? If that's the case, I might keep this one for bigger boob days, or for when I want absolutely no quadding under my thin tops (which is what I am looking for).
The band, by the way, is really tight. I might need to get a 3 hook extender to break it in.

helpfulI think you will get quadding in the cup size down, because it looks to me like this bra simply has a little too much center fullness at the top for your breasts, but is very close to exact at the outside, at least from these pictures. Not enough for a full cup size down. Based on your photos from the Beauty it also does appear to be more open cut than that one.

helpfulI would not size down in the cup, it will probably give you quadboob. Cup volume seems ok in the pictures - it's just that the top edge is a little too rigid.
You could keep it and see if the fabric becomes a bit softer with wash and wear, so the gapping may eventually disappear. New bras are always kind of stiff. In especially with brands like Ewa Michalak and Comexim, I've often seen the fit improve after I had worn them a couple times, so they get the chance to adapt to the body.

Hm, that might work, I could try washing it. I do think however that this particular model is just more open than the others, so I don't think it will fix the gapping completely. Difficult decision!

Charlotteke Is the gaping visible under a T-shirt? It really doesn't look that bad from the pictures, and the side view pic shows it fits pretty much perfectly on you.

Ok, so I tried all of your suggestions straight away, and it works!
First, I've scooped and swooped a bit more rigorously than I usually do, which already helps a little. Next, I tried it under my most unforgiving t shirt, and the gapping is not at all visible.
I actually think the gapping seems worse than it is to me because of the lace that sticks up above the cup edge, and because I look down at my own boobs (which no one else does, fortunately).
I dug up some Ewa cookies from my Pl (my CHP cookies have gone, ahem, "missing", since I got so frustrated trying to pry them out of that bra), and with these inserted the gapping almost disappears entirely! I still don't like the added bulk; even though it doesn't make me look much bigger I sort of feel massive with those things in, but let's see if I can get used to it.
Next time I order one I might even ask for cookie pockets, do they do those on 3HCs?
Anyway, thanks for all the tips, I think I can now get this bra to work for me!
I really love the design and the shape I get in this bra, so I'd be glad to keep it.

helpfulI think it might quad if you go down a size. Have you tried adding little pads like the ones that come with ewa bras? If that works you can get pockets added for the pads on any future bras.

Good idea, I'll try my EM pads, that might help me fill out the cups, but I usually don't like padding much (my boobs are big enough as hey are).

The centre fulness thing might be true, but it may also look that way because of how I held my arms when I took the picture... I'll check that again while wearing the bra.
