Bra fitting help » Do I need to go up 1 or 2 cup size ?
Lepel » Holiday Sparkle Bikini Top (1482611) » 32E 32:6
Issue resolved
I sent back the bra and couldn't order other size because it was out of stock
Original problem
I just received this swimwear. I ordered it in my usual size : 32E but it doesn't fit at all.
You can see that the gore center doesn't lie flat one my sternum. The band size seems to be good (the back doesn't go up) but the I clearly need to go up one or maybe 2 cup size ?
Do you think I should order 32F or 32FF ?

helpfulJust to be safe, try both 32F and 32FF. The first two years of my bra fitting journey I would always order each new style for me in at least 2 sizes just to get a sense of what fits and what doesn't.
It also may be the case that the bikini could be too shallow for your shape. If this is the case, look for a style that is more projected.

helpfulWell, definitely just one cup up, you don't need two. For a swimsuit the only fit criteria that apply are the ones you care about, since it's not a garment that's going to be supporting you all day. So I wouldn't really stress about the non-tacking gore, but a cup up may fix it, or not.
But I gotta say this already looks kinda wide-strapped, with the wires really low.... I don't know if it will be the best-fitting or most flattering swimsuit for you even if 32F is technically a better fit. Personally I'd abandon it and try a different suit.

I really like Freya swim, for example Fever and everything that's cut similarly -- it's a halfcup (vertical seam) style. I am a very pendulous 38E/36F and it gives me a ton of lift and support.

helpfulIt is underwired, right?
When you press on the wires at the side, do they feel like they are resting on breast tissue?Updated on August 18, 2016 Flag this

Not the wires are not resting on my breast tissue. they may be a bit too wide because my boobs don't perfectly fill the sides

ok it was very hard to guess where the wires were under all those layers! It sounds like it is a shallow style whereas you need a deeper and more projected cup.

The most important criteria for me are
- To feel well supported (not the case)
- To feel beautiful in my swimsuit (not the case. As you said this may not the most flattering swimsuit for me...)
- And first of all, I want to feel free of my movements without taking any risk that my boobs pop out... And this risk seems very high with this style...
I have a real problem with moulded bras, they basically never works with me... But in shop it's very hard to find a swimsuit fitting me... And it's even harder to find one that is not moulded... And If I could wear another color than black this would be great
