Bra fitting help » Bra too big
Elomi » Yolanda Bandless Bra (8510) » 40G 40:9
I know band is too big because I can fit my fist inside. The gore sits well unlike many bras I have tried in the past. Cups are wrinkled and too big. Do you have any suggestions as to what size I should try next?

helpfulElomis generally run about a cup size smaller than UK brands. The band on that bra, if I remember, is super stretchy and not greatly supportive so you still might find it too wobbly in a 38G if you sized down. Other Elomis have firmer bands. Elomis also tend to have wires that bend back with the band, so if this is too wide you might want to stick with other brands. Check out roxannelovesbras because she is around your size and has reviewed a lot of great bras.

Thank you! I will check out her reviews.

Ack! I should have said a cup size bigger! Especially this bra ran very large in both band and cup compared to Panache and CK.

helpfulI had the same effect with an Anita nursing bra size 75D. It just wrinkled on top even though I am FOT.
What if youd simply try another bra cut such as a Freya Deco bra? They give great support.Updated on August 28, 2016 Flag this

Thank you for the suggestion. I will look into the Freya as it seems the brand may have some bras that work well for me.

helpfulTry a 36 or 38, and whatever cup size Bratabase estimates to be around 13" deep.

Thanks for the suggestion at what cup size to look at on the bratabase.

I would agree on Elomi running a cup size smaller for sure! The wires bending back is also my experience. As the bra is getting a little loose, they are bending back. Thanks on the linkage! :)
