Bra fitting help » Go down a cup size and maybe band?
Parfait By Affinitas » Delphine Unlined Wire Bra (4102) » 40G 40:9
Band fits well but cups wrinkle and lace gaps so I suspect cup is to large? Gore also does not lay flat so maybe band does not fit as well as I think?

helpfulThe wires look too wide for you and the cups not deep enough. Delphine looks like a shape mismatch. Notice how your breast is "bowing in" (like Omega shape?) as seen on the sides in photo 4? The wires do not match the shape of your IMF. While it might be the right size, it's definitely not the right shape. Affinitas/Parfait may not be a good match for your breast shape.

helpfulband numbers match your body well enough. Cups look too tall and too wide? not sure why the gore isnt working - i dont know the brand, could be the wires are not strong enough to support you, or the cups are not projected enough. Hopefully someone will have a better idea

Ok, i see you have a different elomi - what was wrong w that one?

It's unheard of for a 40 band in modern bras to only have 3" of stretch so I think she is just having a wee bit of trouble taking the stretched measurement. This is riding way up in the back so I'm sure she is right in thinking it is too big. Cup is too large but even with all this excess cup volume she's getting a non-tacking gore and the cups are wrinkling up underneath which suggests it's just not a good bra for her, cup too shallow all round.

Thanks for the comments. When I pulled on the bra, it started to warp the wires so I didn't want to pull on it too much. Should I have pulled anyway? This is my first time entering measurements.
The elomi I ordered was too large and I am now not sure about the shape. Perhaps the other style will fit me better. I will check into the suggestions that were made.

Some bras have incredibly soft wires so it could be warping the wires to pull even gently. If you really need to pull like a maniac to get it past 36" it could be mislabeled? The Delphine bras measured by other Bratabasers definitely don't seem to run super small, so it would be an anomaly if this one did.
I wonder if this bra would work for you - its good for short breasts and you are in its size range http://www.bratabase.com/browse/elomi/etta-bandless-bra-8840/
